I do not like folding stocks b/c they are not adjustable for length of pull.

Not knocking anything Lage is putting out. I just am not into folding stock.

NOW- if someone would make a folder for the CAR stock- I would be up for that.

Ace stocks makes the parts to do that.

http://www.aceltdusa.com/index2.htm

You need a MAC stock mount that will accept Ace's hinge.
You could use a MAC-AR stock mount and Ace’s “plug” that has two threaded holes in it.
make a new plate in place of the original one that accepted the AR buffer tube.
Use Ace’s stock mount.

Working backward, then the hinge

Then the pig nose. It adapts the hinge to accept an AR buffer tube.

Having made the above post I also want to put in a plug for Richard.

I whole heartedly agree that Richards stocks look awesome. Unfortunately I have extra AR stuff and used them on my MAC……..

When I first got my MAC I wanted a longer upper with an integrated hand guard and optics rail. I started making drawings and toying with concepts. Then I found Lage LLC. I have to thank Richard for saving me a lot of time and probably money. And it is a slow fire to boot!

My only complaint (hint, hint) is that it is not made as a flat top.

I've been looking at the Ace site but I don't like the way that they come from the bottom of the gun---I really like the way that Richard's is more inline...

And H Mode beat me to it but Ace will be your answer to a side folder CAR...according to Richard's site he uses the Ace folding parts so you know they are high quality...

I just emailed Richard and had only moved down 6 places in the last month BUT he said that he was picking up 50 barrels that day that had just been finished so that should speed things up.... I can't wait and sure do appreciate Richard's time and effort for the M11/9!!!!

:jester Well....:jester

I thought that I would give a little bit of a plug for Richard after receiving his upper and accessories...

Here is what I purchased and a review of each:

Slowfire Upper
Ummmm... If you dont have one get on the list. If you dont own an M11 9mm get one. If you cant afford one get a loan. This upper transforms an M11 9mm into a gun, not just a bullet hose. With my Mk9K and some subsonic ammo a nice smooth typewriter comes to mind. I really dont know how to explain what this upper will do to a gun that, for most people has sat in there safe or closet for years doing nothing.

Folding Stock
Nice, Tight, Functional, Did I mention Tight? This is not your normal wobble stock made to attach to a M11. It fits tight and sits correctly.

Tactical Rails
Nice, Well Made, Flashlight, Laser, Back Scratcher... You can mount it all....

Safety
I really didnt know an M11 had a safety?:) Now mine does....?

Canted Drip
Correct Stance. Wish he would have made the grip so that it would mount to a tac rail. I have no where to mount my pressure pad for my light... (Did I mention the gun now shoots at about 600 RPM, so who cares huh?:) )

Overall
Shooting at the range today... I had several mags loaded and ready to roll. Stepped up too the line and worked through about 5. The guy next too me comes over and says "nice gun". I of course offered to let him shoot it.. He take the gun gives it a good once over and says... This is an M11?? (in the most surprised voice you can imagine) I still dont think he quite understood that an M11 could do that???

Very nice piece of work. I am going to get some pics up as soon as I can.

I had my 1st FTF.

It doesn't like hollowpoint ammo. It would push the round into the feed ramp and stop.

The other 400 rounds went downrange without a hitch.

I received my slow fire upper this morning and ran some mags through it this afternoon. It is everything everyone has said it would be. Bolted right on and functioned flawlessly. Just plain terrific!!!!! Was worth every minute of the wait.

How many rounds did you have loaded in your CDNN mags? It seemed like only about 20 rounds in the vid per mag. Any reason for this? Did they function OK with 30 rounds?
