Has anyone pictures of the MAC10/45 with the Lage upper with the flattop? I can get one right now from Lage or wait until December for the upper with the iron sights. I am going to put an Eotech 516 on the thing anyway so the iron sights are somewhat superfluous. I just want to know how it will look. I just like the option of removing the Eotech if the batteries die so I can use irons. I still will have to wait a month or more for the folding stock as they are on backorder for at least that long. Frustrating!

I have one with the iron sights, not a flat top.
I too am waiting on the folding stock.
Is that what you heard, "a month or more"?
I might go with something from US Machinegun if the wait is to long.

Jackie Lage told me today that their supplier for the folding stocks told them a week ago that the wait is one to 2 months for the folding stocks. It may be awhile.

Think I might go with this one:
Billet Stock with Folding Adapter for Mac-10 SMG & Semi Auto Open Bolt

http://www.usmachinegun.com/proddetail.php?prod=M10U-BF01

A little pricey-er than Lage's but it folds left or right.

It's not the stocks that are out of stock. It's the folding stock mechanisms. ACE Rifle Stocks (J&T) can't keep up with demand.

Our folding stocks come standard as left folding, but they can also be set up to fold to the right. Just flip the folding mechanism upside down.

Personally, I'd pass on the folder. I had a folding setup (using the ACE mechanism) on my MAX-10, and ended up never really finding a use for the "folding" part. It also introduced a lot of extra wobble, and I ended up having to "pad" it with adhesive velcro to stiffen it up (which made it MUCH harder to work the folding action).

I ended up taking it off and replacing it with a solid mount.

Unless you're in need of a really compact setup, the folder just isn't worth it IMO.

I have the new metal fore-end also, pictured in 3rd pic

Third pic is the Maxpul 45 Forward Grip for your AR-15. Very effective, but a little heavy.

I like it. Have you fired the MAC while mounted on the AR? Is the AR a full auto or a semi?f Anyway the setup looks really nice. I could see with a mag in place the forend 45 MAC would be a bit heavy.
