Does anyone know where I can pick up a used semi-auto Uzi parts kit???? I bought a very high quality semi-auto stamped and welded uzi receiver! But, all's that I am able to find is FULL-AUTO open bolt kits with SHORT barrels! I just can NOT seem to find a semi-auto CLOSED BOLT kit??? Why is that? Am looking in all the wrong places? Does anyone know where I can buy such a semi-auto closed bolt 16" barrel UZI drop on in kit? Please help me if you can!!! Thanking You in advance for your attention, your time your efforts and your concerns. Sincerely and yours truly...... HANK B. penguinchick10@live.com

I don't think there ever was a "semi auto complete parts kit" if you have a complete semi reciever, McKay has their semi auto 9mm bolts in stock, you will need a grip assembly which are available from RTG or US Barrel shrouds. Also check for semi barrels, barrel nut, ect at RTG, US Barrel Shrouds, Sarco or Numerich.

You're best bet is to scan Gunbroker every day, EVERY day. Also post WTB in all the gun forums you belong to, someone may feel sorry for you and have some spares
hanging out in their parts bins.

McKay has the semi bolts, semi barrels and parts kit in stock right now. That is as close as you can get to a "*semi-auto closed bolt 16" barrel UZI drop on in kit." If you are already going to do the welding to install the parts, you won't have a hard time getting what you need from the kit, welding the block into the grip, and the other little odds & ends of building these guns. If your receiver is already welded, just buy the bolt & barrel, and get a grip to convert from RTG or others as fwp9mm suggested. Us barrelshrouds even gets the semi Sears in stock if you watch their site.

I agree too many posts by the Original poster. Hank, what brand is your receiver? Any Photos? If it is a Century, your bolt choice could be different. Is the Reciever coated or raw?
I feel that with work and a parts list you can find every part you need. What is your budget? I think the hunt is easy and rewarding, BUT You may want to sell your receiver on Gun Broker and buy an MP5 Clone, or a B&T GHM9 compact just sayin.

He said it is a McKay: "I just ordered/bought a McKay Complete/Welded and completed UZI semi-auto Receiver"

but with this many posts over three years he is just kicking tires or doing something shady.
