Hello everyone,I just brought this uzi made by action arms.I was not in the market for an UZI but it was a spur of the moment purchase,it was like a "buy it now or I'll miss out" I dont know much about it so I wanted to see if I can get a little more info on it. From what I've read theres a model A and a model B but mines doesnt have the model letter on it..I beleive it's a model B because of the sights. Also the receiver is marked 9mm/45 uzi ..
I will post more detail pictures in a few but I want to see if this picture will upload because I'm on my cellphone and I'm not seeing an option to upload pics from a cellphone,so im using photobucket.

Ok hopefully yall can see these as well..do they look blurry?because I logged on with my other phone and clicked my thread but they looked blurred,but on the phone that I'm uploading these pictures,they look clear..

Heres some more pics,theres some markings on it that I dont see on other advantage arms uzi..like for 1 it doesn't have the model letter,the Fire and safe is in Hebrew but above it there F-S..also where the Model letter is suppose to be,theres Uzi semi auto model 45 under that is 9mm/45 acp and under that theres IMI _israel ..
Another marking on the receiver is "Vector arms NSL T. ..
Hopefully the pictures show all of this and if you guys have any tips or help let me know. .I was under the assumption that this was an advantage arms uzi but I also see vector arms on the receiver as well..

Theres also this marking under the receiver where the stock fold upinto..I watches some YouTube videos aswell is forgotten weapons video on the advantage arms UZI and was just wondering because the markings on mine seems a bit off as compared to the ones he was showing

Gun was finished by vector.

Once upon a time vector was the leading and only place to get a *new* UZI in the late 90's early 2000's

Decent gun as long as it shoots one of the more desirable UZI clones out there.

For really detailed info on your gun pick up a copy of Rover Dave's UZI book.

There is a sticky at the top of this forum for it and it's well worth the 50 bux.

Thanks I will look into getting a copy of the book .
But
I'm sorry what do u meen it was finished by vector arms?. Was it built by vector or action arms?..is it a pre ban or post ban?.I like this uzi but I dont think it will be in my collection long so I would like to have some information that i can give to the future buyer..I will deff shoot it but I thought this was one of the "desirable" semi auto uzi...

Heres how I got this uzi,I met an old man in his 70s early 80s who was selling off alot of guns from his collection,the uzi looked like it would have been worth something so I brought it for $650,I wasnt in the market for one and I was put on the spot to either get it or get off of his property LOL..So I had a few minutes to do a little research on it and I went on gunbroker seeing what these things go for..i didnt see much maybe 1 or 2 in the $600 range and then there where the ones that were being sold for $1000-$2000... so I said the hell with it and I brought it. I havent shot it yet but i think it's pretty cool with its folding stock and easily removable barrel plus itll fit right in with my Mac and Tec9 (both semiauto)..

Alright I think i got it..this is where my uzi came from.

On August 24th, 1995, a U.S. Uzi manufacturer named Group Industries went out of business and held an auction for their left over recievers, parts and other miscellaneous junk. A company out of Utah called Vector Arms bought the remaining recievers (all model A full size uzis) and held on to them for a few years. They went into the business of producing full size Uzis in 1999, only after finding another company to reproduce some of the parts that would be needed to complete the guns

Your gun began life as a stripped IMI receiver imported and sold by NHM of Sacramento, CA.

Vector Arms purchased a quantity of these receivers and built them into complete guns using new and surplus parts. I’d refer to the gun as Vector Uzi. I’d think prices should be around $1,000 if it runs correctly.

Those are different. Those are receivers made by Group Industries.

Sorry not all your pix were not showing up for me before THANK YOU PHOTOFUCKIT....

And the one that was was only the vector stamping and semi top cover.

You have the same receiver as me so it's not a clone but a true IMI finished by vector. I finished mine myself so I just have a action arms IMI gun without the vector stamping.

The IMI guns from AA are the 2nd most desirable UZI out there only surpassed by the transferables as far as collecting.

I routinely see them at gun shows for 1200 to 1800 and the last stripped receiver like you have sold here last year for 500 and it sold fast.

Ya got a great deal on the gun.

Dave's book also covers these receivers, they were the very last IMI UZI's imported and only because they were stripped receivers..

I'd give ya the 650 for it right now but I know you are not going to sell it for that after reading what I and others have posted about it. 1K would get you a rather fast sell though.

1200-1800 would be to the right guy that has to have a IMI gun.

And that is a model B receiver you have as far as I know they were the only ones that came in. I think it was 2000 imported in total.
I paid 250+ 4473 fees on mine so just under 300 stripped.

Thanks guys yall are awesome and heck no I'm not selling it(at least not now)LOL..the more i look at it,the more i like this thing..i really want to go shoot it but thatll have to wait untill Sunday...today I feild stripped it,clean and lubed it and everything looked good..the old man I got it from said he put Less than 100rds thru it but when someone says they've only put "50 or 100rds" thru a used gun,I'll take it with a grain of salt lol.but this one here really looks good no wear Marks besides just a little wear on the top cover but that's about it...I have all 15+ mags loaded and ready to go come this Sunday.hopefully it runs just as good as it looks..

I have seen the following receivers/receiver builds: :)

1. .45-SA (usual Uzi 45 markings, and bottom receiver- N H M CO SAC CA) in the 008123-009759 range;

2. .45-SA (left rear receiver- IMI-ISRAEL/UZI SEMI AUTO/ .22/9mm/.45/ IMPTR NHM CO/SAC CA/serial number) in the N1361 range;

3. .45 (left center receiver- VECTOR ARMS, NSL, UT; left rear receiver- IMI-ISRAEL/UZI SEMI AUTO/ .22/9mm/.45/ IMPTR NHM CO/SAC CA/serial number; Vector markings- left receiver- center), and left center receiver (VECTOR ARMS, NSL, UT . . . FLETCHER, UT; left rear receiver- IMI-ISRAEL/UZI SEMI AUTO/ .22/9mm/.45/ IMPTR NHM CO/SAC CA/serial number; underneath receiver (IMI-ISRAEL/NHM CO SAC CA) in the G301-G897 range;

4. 9mm (left center receiver- VECTOR ARMS, NSL, UT; left rear receiver- UZI semi auto/MODEL B/9mm PARA/IMI-ISRAEL; right receiver- ACTION ARMS, LTD/Phila.Pa./SA/serial number) in the N1XXX range.

Fun facts: ;)

1. New Helvetia Mercantile Corporation (importer name) incorporated in January, 1972, and closed in 2007;

- known NHM CO receivers 007484-009963)

2. post-ban .45 imported receivers (6,000 in March/April, 2000, and 120 in December, 2000).
