Murrica, where else.
Close to 20, but a dozen are on my safe and a mean girl named Irma is about to make a visit. We'll see if they're still there or full of water when I get back. Half of those are numbers matching and in excellent shape :(

They briefly made a Suomi 31 semi auto but I gathered it was too much work and they quit

My brother and I put together one of the TNW "easy-build" kits a while back. I think we paid like $160 or so at The Creek. Wifey always wanted one, it is now pending as her first SBR. It went together pretty easily except for the semi-auto FCG which was devised by Satan himself.

I had one of those semi auto suomis... Never worked quite right. Every once and a while it would let out bursts of 2 to 4 rounds when it wasn't jamming.

I keep 30 in 3 SAW/FAT-50 Cans. 10 empties fit perfectly in each Can.

Because Lage won't make a "K" version of the Max31 for the m11/9...

Zero.

He says the 31k is out of proportion on the m11/9 - personally the 31a is out of proportion to anything smaller than a carbine. Ungainly.

No worries though, I'm about 98% finished on a 135+ round drum already printed and real, just waiting the metal top cover for repeated hard testing. Won't need a stinking 71 round drum. LoL! Based on the AM180 scaled up for 9mm using just the winder. Stay tuned.

I've got 32, and all are in very good condition. Sadly, none of them have all-matching numbers.

I got lucky with one. It was bought as a bulk buy from what a country and happen to be matching numbers.

Each drum has four serial numbers.

The body, top cover, spring housing, and the bullet platter. I discovered a significant quantity of drums I sold had three matching numbers. The body, spring housing, and the platter. These parts wear in and mate together. IMHO, having these three parts match are much more important than a matching top cover.

The way some platters are marked and clocked, you'll need to disassemble the drum to verify a match. Many drums have been repaired or rebuilt at the depot level after the platter stop breaks, or springs fatigue.

That's interesting information Tom. I've never thought to check mine beyond the body and cover for matching. I wonder if a quadruple matching drum would be valued differently.

Only a quadruple match holds true matching numbers status. Anything else can't be accurately described as all matching. It was important enough for the manufacturer to number the spring housing and the bullet platter in addition to the body and cover, so does it matter? I believe it does.

As far as value, I sold drums based on several factors, and the best condition, all four numbers matching were priced highest. I marked most drums with a number indicating total parts match and I used a small arrow to indicate number location. Because I disassembled every drum for cleaning and lube, this was easy. Even without disassembly, you should be able to read the spring housing number which is stamped on the side.

I'm a big fan of the triple number match with the differing number being the cover. The drum lid/cover has little to no bearing on actual function. If you support the drum with your off hand, it'll run perfectly without the cover.

I have about 40. I bought a few when u got my Stemple/BRP U9 then up some more on a couple of different buys. I'm with rmcmillan and want to leave plenty of mags (and spare parts) for my kids and future grandkids when I'm gone.

I got lucky and have 1 drum that has all 4 numbers matching.

Tom, what did you lube the drums with? Did you apply the lube between the body and bullet platter?

Sadly zero. I'm trying to source a few drums. My Max-10/31 upper came in at the end of Dec and is very naked right now.
