Perhaps yours is no more than a trading piece or a phase. Maybe you plan on keeping it for life?

Just curious.

I asked the question, and I'll answer it too.

I'll always try to keep at least one full auto for life. I just have this feeling as time goes on sooner or later old family will be needy in regards to health expenses... perhaps myself as I age. The guns are a chunk of $ easily liquidated similar to gold if that's what I collected... I wonder if I'll really hang on to this m11 until my son gets it someday, but that's my intent. Never sell it... sell other stuff instead.

i plan on keeping and shooting for life.
I'll sell if I need to or pass it down.
I buy to shoot and enjoy, not looking for increase to sell later for profit.

When I bought my M11/9 back in 2012 I thought it would be the only MG I would ever own. I'm pretty sure that's still true, but regardless I will never sell it.

Never selling my 10/45. Once I get my max 10/31 upper that's never going away either.

Murrica, where else.
My hope is that my grandkids grandkids get as big of a smile from 70 round drums as I do. While I don't have a plan to sell any of my nfa if the circumstance was right I'd do it.

Will have at least one forever. The others might go if and when prices get too stupid to ignore

I'd consider selling, but not for at least 20 years. My son has other ideas, but unless he moves to a state where he could own FA weapons, he won't be getting them.

Never thought about it before but I've owned two of my macs for over 30 years now. I guess it's for life.

I have a 4-8 year attention span and sold mine a couple years ago. I've moved on to other things.

Plan to keep it at least as long as I live in the sticks. Hasn't gotten old- don't imagine it will, since every new upper is like a new MG. .22, 380, 9mm, S&W 40, Lage rifle caliber coming up and I'm building a 12 ga upper.

Do you still have a MG's or are you picking up a different one? I keep telling myself a m-16 or some other MG will happen but the M11/9 is just a great Lego type gun, just flip parts and it is a different animal, open bolt but different.

Seeing as 41f is making trust less fun and pricing only goes up I dont think most will sell unless they have to due to move or money ..Now if the 86 ban got over turned yeah pretty likly a lot would sell to move onto newer guns ..But for now

Not planning to ever sell. My M11/9 and all other NFA items are in a trust that I'd like to see my grandson utilize if he is smart enough to move out of California into a free state.
