This photo is listed as NIB Uzi model A, I see the 16' barrel is still wrapped in paper, and I see the Dummy barrel, but have never seen one like the one that is on the gun.. Anyone have any Ideas?

If the 16" barrel is not serial numbered the same as the gun (last three digits) then its not original, regardless of being wrapped or not. The short barrel definitely is not original. It could be made by anyone. In the 1980's you could buy Uzi barrels threaded with MAC threads like that. More importantly, if the gun isn't registered as an SBR it's illegal with that barrel in it.

That was my concern RoverDave, That barrel with the Mac looking threads, The seller does not mention SBR in the ad, and I cant understand why someone would make a dummy barrel with threads on it.

I agree. I'm sure it's not a dummy barrel, so buyer beware.

The seller just sent me a response. He states it is a dummy barrel, and that it came from IMI/ Action Arms with it. Maybee I should jump on it, a rare one of a kind item. ( ha ha ha )

It definitely didn't come from IMI or action arms, so he's full of shit.

I'm not sure what that is exactly but the barrel looks too thin to be 9mm. Maybe it's just the angle of the shot.

Either way something's fishy

Is that a Barrel nut Adapter or is the Barrel actually threaded like that? It look like a barrel nut adapter for a Mac type suppressor. Similiar to the ones Guy makes for mini's http://www.titleiiarms.com/Accessories_Parts.php If its the barrel that is threaded, why on earth go hrough the added expense to thread a dummy barrel... in either case NIB is not a description I would use...

I would probably ask for that barrel to not be included in the sale!:nutkick

Unless AA Assemblers screwed up like on my Mod. A and give you the wrong 3 digit serial number on your barrel when they put the guns together after taking them out of the crate that they were packed in with the barrels separate from the receivers. Can't complain about the function of the gun though: shoots perfect.
