Has anyone tried this super cheap +P+ ammo in an Uzi?

Got an emailed advertisement from an outfit called, if you'll forgive me, "Tactical Shit". I had not heard of them before. They have 124 gr. FMJ high pressure ammo from Federated Ordnance, also new to me, that is sold as +P+ rated "for carbine use only". You have to sign a waiver promising you won't use it in a handgun. $229 per 1000-round case with free shipping. This stuff is domestically made in Idaho, although I have read allegations that they have foreigners behind the scenes, so perhaps it's a cat's paw for breaking Russian sanctions.

My full-auto Vector Uzi likes hot European and Israeli loadings, and I suspect that's the case with all of them, at least the open-bolt automatics. I was going to buy a case or two but thought I'd check here first to see if there were anyone with horror stories or warnings. Assuming it's legit, I suspect this is just the ticket for FA Uzis, as well as other robust SMGs from days gone by. Not sure I'd use it in a MP5 or one of the B&T rigs, but if anything can eat it up it will be my Uzi.

Damn you.

Why are you forcing me to looks at this stuff.'
Why are you so forceful in making me type in my CC information on their site.
Oh, where oh where is my self control!!!

Not a bad price for 1K 9mm +P+ rounds.

Supposedly, only 5 cases left.
Soon to be 4
or maybe 3?

Let us know if A) you receive your order, and B) if it’s good Uzi food.

I've shot that British L1A1 +p+ in my uzi. No problems. Did it seem different than ordinary 9mm? Not really. Maybe a little faster ROF. The story was that it was manufactured to shoot thought Sterlings in Arctic conditions. I've still got a case of somewhere. Boxer primed brass case. Nice looking ammo.

I've shot a bunch of that British stuff as well with similar results.
Can I tell a difference? Not really, but then I'm just shooting for fun, not results.
Might be an interesting play to load a few mags with the L1A1 and this Tactical Stuff and see if I can see or feel a difference.

I wrote them off.
They are now in the spam folder.
I ordered 5k new primed 45 acp brass last Sept. from them.
Took me from Sept 2025 to Feb 2026 to get it.
That was with me bugging them every 3rd day for a tracking number they said they would send since after 3 weeks they claimed they shipped it.
I never got tracking.
But I did get the primed brass.
I did hound them enough to get my primed brass months later and I think that was only because I threatened to do a charge back.

Nothing wrong with the brass I think they sold it to cheap.
Over sold inventory on hand and had a problem sourcing more primed brass.
They sold it at 7 cents per primed case.
The sale email was only sent twice.
If you follow their emails it's almost always the same stuff over and over until it is gone.

Just my 2 cents, but I would not use +P+ or even +P in my Vector or any firearm.

The various militaries liked high pressure ammo in subguns in order to get more range and penetration from them, but they are only paying $500 each for their guns.

I've noticed that UZIs in general like full power ammo, and they do not seem to throw empties that far, but I never encountered anyone who needed anything more than decent quality bulk ammo to get his to run well.

Also, you can get decent bulk ammo at around 23 cents per round, shipped.

YMMV, etc
