I got an email, seemingly from Jackie, with a secret code name and password with a link. It takes you to a page with some ominous wording about reusing the secret codes and $50 fees. Is this legit? I just had trouble with another fake web site so maybe I'm overly cautious but it's different from my other dealings with them.

It’s legit. We need to have a way to prevent someone, other than the original person on the waiting list, from logging in and purchasing an upper or purchasing more uppers than they were on the list for.

We only do this for products that are on a waiting list.

I apologize for the awkwardness and foreboding message on the website.

Keeps the dorks at bay?
Some automation probably makes Jackie’s life easier.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't some scammer that hacked your email list or something.

Congrats! Fun times ahead. I love that Lage product shipping wait. It's like Christmas for adults.

Thanks for letting us know Skoda, and thanks for clearing it up Richard. I am very paranoid about scam emails, calls, texts, etc. and probably would have been hesitant too.

Just placed my order. Anyone know what the 'V11SSPB Upgrade" is? It was auto placed in my cart and is no cost. I figured that it was best to leave it there rather than question what it is.

I did order that version but not sure what the alphabet soup name means. I'll post pics when I get it.

My guess would be 'V11SSPB" = "Versa 11 Suomi Stick Push Button". "No cost" is because buyers get one magazine module for free when they buy the upper.

Wow, I guess you bought the Lage decoder ring when they were for sale!

I noticed after I selected the upper that the item number was #900. I found it a little odd that my choice was the first one number-wise but not the first one in the list. The Glock adaptor is #904. I tried to make sure that that was what I was going to get but in the end I just put in a verbal note. All these special names and numbers are confusing when you don't live with them.

I just got this note from Jackie:

"Your order includes the items that you wanted. The “V11SSPB Upgrade” is zero dollars since one mag module is included with the VERSA 11. That is the Suomi Stick Push Button Mag Module."

Strobro figured it out.

So bottom line, when you order a Versa upper you select the version that you want and it goes into your cart as a base upper at the full price and then comes with one 'free' adaptor that makes the base upper the one that you selected.
