Got mine today! - Now with pics!

Got a happy phone call this morning from my FFL so I ran right over and picked them up.

Transfer times:
Form 3 to my dealer - 3 weeks!
Form 4 to me - 29 days!

Of course, I've had a bunch of mags loaded up for a few weeks now, so I went to the range and blasted through five mags worth of ammo. Had two jams on one of the used DSA mags and I think it's a problem with the feed lips, since it doesn't really hold the first couple of rounds in very securely.

Other than that, it ran great. Less recoil/muzzle rise than the Uzi. I did a full mag dump on a full sized sillhouette target at 25 yards (even with a poorly lit range and my bad eyes) I got at least 90% in the black.

The fit and finish is great, now I just need a proper sized case for it. It was kind of embarassing to carry it into the range wrapped in bubble wrap. :D I bought a 33" case designed for a breakdown over/under shotgun for now, and it fits pretty well, especially with the stock folded out.

The gun also shot about 2-3" high on single shots, so I need to find a sight tool, but I remember someone coughing up $150 for one, and I'm not sure I want to do that.

Groups on single shot were excellent - holes were touching each other at 10 yards, but just higher than where I aimed. All in all, it's going to be a really fun gun!!

How about we all pitch in together and buy one tool to share? Given our numbers, it would only cost about $10 a head. What say ye?

Ok, so it's not a very good pic.

It's pretty easy to tell which are the DSA used mags. Except for the one problem they worked great, so not too bad for $10.

All of my transfer have been at 30 days or less for corporate transfers. My examiner is Dawn Henson.

Corporate Transfer

I may have to eventually go LLC just to buy suppressors and MG's. I have researched the tax stuff and may not have to file more than 1 additional state and federal return form.

The OEM sight tool...

ONLY adjusts for windage NOT elevation!

$150 well spent... lol

Check out the manual for elevation.
You need to loosen the grub screw w/ a 1/16 allen key & turn the sight up a tad. You should be about 2" high @ 100' & dead-on @ 100yds.

Well, I was shooting at an indoor range at about 15 yards, and it was 2-3" high, so maybe if I try it at 100 yards it will be dead on.

That's encouraging news! Now, if I could actually see 100 yards without a scope.... :(
