Greetings!

I attempted to install a 3-lug on my X95 and discovered that there aren't enough threads inside the mount for it to reach the shoulder of the barrel. There is about an 1/8 gap. Is it okay to run it like this? Is there an alternative fix? Thanks!

Don't use it like that - the adapter should be tightened against the shoulder on the barrel to keep everything aligned. What thread pattern is on the X95 barrel?
If it's standard 1/2-28, you can get one of these:

If it is another thread pitch, you may need to have a spacer made or have the barrel turned down and re-crowned.

Good copy, thank you very much. I think I am going to secure one of the Trosusa ones that was designed for the X95/Tavor. I'll keep this one for a future 9mm build. Thanks again!
