I'm sure someone here has a good list to start a Galil "sticky" on parts and accessories suppliers like the one in the Sterling forum. Is there enough info or interest.

Galil Mags

Ohio Ordnance has 50 rounders for $20 in quantity:
http://www.ohioordnanceworks.com/parts/magazines.html

Fac Supply has 50 rounders for $17.95 ea
http://facsupply.com/

We all know CDNN's great deal on Galil mags:
http://www.cdnninvestments.com/

Botac had new 20 and 35 rounders for $29.95, out of stock, customer service issues?
http://store.botachtactical.com/imigama.html

"Ammoclip" has new and used Galil mags of various capacities:
http://www.ammoclip.com/G/galil.htm

DS Arms has new 35 rounders for $34.95, with quantity discounts of "Order 5 or more, $5.00 discount each; 10 or more, $10.00 discount each; 20 or more, $15.00 discount each"
http://www.dsarms.com/

http://www.whatacountry.com/ has new IMI steel or Orilite 35 rounders for $29.95, $24.95 for 10 or more.

Much of this is a repeat from what boscoman posted, I thought a mags post would be useful tho.

I'll edit this post as I find other mag suppliers or as info changes. Just trying to give something back here.

Suka,

I was just looking at some items being sold by a Dano. Damn thanks for the heads up. This industry is like "Miami where you can't even tell the players without a program," to quote my fellow Miamian Sonny Crockett.

The OOW 40 round magazines are actually 50 rounders. I bought the 5 for $100. Four were great, one had the rear locking lug snapped off.

Thanks KWM

Good suggestion on the Galil "sticky" listings and thanks for the list of mag suppliers. Most helpful.

I have ordered a number of Galil items from them (they are part of Century International Arms) & they are usually IMI items. I can't say for certain that these mags are, but they have been a good company to deal with.

Has anyone inquired or gotten these? It dosent say IMI as the manufacture.

Botach Tactical

Botach Tactical is out of IMI Galil magazines, but haven' removed them from Web site. This firm can be nonresponsve and difficult to deal with. To say their customer service is lousy is an understatement. Beware.

I talked to Dano a couple months back and he told me he got out of the Galil parts biz. Unlike some other people here and elsewhere, I have had nothing but good dealings with him.

FAC

Got my FAC $17.95 50 rounders today. I'm not sure how to identify IMI mags -- but I'd say that these are surplus IMI, same construction as the 35 round mags I've got, but they are well used. One looks usable as is, the other may need some "clean-up" to work reliably. They're not trashed, but they're quite experienced.

Talked to Keystone Joe this morning and Keystone is pretty much out of all Galil parts for the time being. Just a heads up.

Anybody buy from gunsmith47 on gunbroker? He had new Galil kits. Now he isn't advertising on gunbroker and his email address is bouncing.

I bought a Micro kit from him a couple years back and it was a hodge podge of Micro and standard parts. I ended up having to spend another $600 to get the real parts from Dano.
