Again, no Golani option????? :D

So far everyone I've bought has run %100.Added another this week.

Yeah, it can be pretty (ת') שחצני, סנובי around here......

(I hope my English/Hebrew translator is working correctly.)

Yes many thousands of Golanis and ORFs perform as well as originals.

Just a Golani. But of all my ARs, AKs and other, it is my favorite.

Model 386. Didn't want any extra hardware in the form of a bipod and bayonet lug. Also wanted it short since folding stock is advantage of the Galil platform. I liked the clean look of the 386.

Nice collection FELiX 808!

You sure picked the right builder!
If you start with excellent quality parts, Jeff's capable of making the Galil even better than IMI production line guns, just like the top tier 1911 builders!
Far more accurate barrels (Douglas stainless).
Nitride Finishes that offer far, far better wear and corrosion resistance.
Precise Hand lapped/fitted bolts. (Which is not to say the IMI bolts don't fit well, they sure do, almost always, but Jeff does a fantastic job of hand fitting them to absolute perfection, always!)
Custom trigger work available.
Better fitting top covers and handguards.
To name "but a few" of the reasons, he can truly make the Galil, even better.
Heck, you could also go for "cool" lightening cuts, on both sides, and Hebrew markings, or SADF.
(And the CNC-W receivers are every bit as good as the IMI receivers!)
Jeff even put matching receiver numbers on all my bolts, carriers, and top covers, so I don't mix'em up accidentally.
Absolutely peerless quality!
Just be patient, quality takes time.

Funny, I've spoken to some other "Galil builders", who questioned what I meant by "lapping" the bolts!!!
They said, "no, I don't do that".
I chose not to go with those guys.

Well guess I should throw my virgin IMI barrel in the trash so I can shoot ping pong balls at 600yds. :)

I have my CNC-W R5 build all boxed up and ready to send it to Jeff's shop in the wilds of TN.

That's pretty funny AspektZA, but those real IMI barrels are fantastic barrels.
Don't get me wrong.
They're super strong, very well made, and great barrel life too.
(I'd better send my last ARM kit to Jeff, before you have a chance to send yours!)
Happy New Year, and many more!

Thanks AresShrike.
Well after a whole lot of phone tag, were were able to get them shipped out today :banana
Yep getting Hebrew markings & lightening cuts single side I believe as the receivers have the optics mount cut . GM barrels, Jeff says they're fine unless you end up with the last barrel cut on the bit.

Now just waiting for Ironwood to get those ARM hand guards. I got 2 of the AR hand guards & they came out nice, but do require fitting & staining.

Oh, I'm more than pleased to have gotten hold of a virgin 1-7 IMI barrel.

I got my box on the brown trucks today, so hopefully the early bird gets the Galil.

AspektZA -
You beat me to it!!
Dawg-on-it!!! (spelling?)
Yes, the real IMI barrels, are excellent +++! I especially love that 1-7 twist, for today's more......effective...rounds, although, as you know, they're nearly impossible to find these days.

FELIX 808 -
You are gonna LOVE the SAR, and ARM's Jeff builds for you!!!
It may take a little while, but it'll be very well worth the wait.

I hope Matt got the new ARM handguard I sent.
It was supposed to get there yesterday.

I'm new here, and I'm not that familiar with the types of Galils.

I own one wich I bought recently. I looked it up in the Galil Edition 3, and I know I've a Action Arms GALIL S.A.R. CAL5.56. But the type number I'm not sure of, it could be a (neutered) MR365 (which isnt part of the poll).

Mine's a Springfield import, but it's not listed as a poll option.
