Hey guys, I realise no one has pot loads of money, however, I think someone needs to buy one of these mags and an M4 mag convertor so we can all drool over your gun!!! http://www.opsgear.com/index/page/p...me/Surefire+High-Capacity+Magazine+-+60+Round
I can't believe when these Surfire magazines first came out they where $60.00. If your really think about it our current administration did put the hurt on our hobby because everything costs at least 50% more to purchase (that excludes ammo that % is more). I does not help that gun vendors got greedy too. I hope they realize that if they lower their prices they would get more sales. I bet there are people on this board that can dump and reload 2 magazines just as fast as someone with one 60 round Surefire mag :) Yeah is it a popular product, but I can get 5 standard magazines for the prices they asking for.

Sorry guys to express my frustration online, but no gun control as of yet, but vendors are still keeping prices inflated. tsk tsk on you vendors!

We just got our hands on a supply of original steel 35 round IMI Galil magazines. We will be selling them as 6 packs at 165$ with free shipping. They were hardly used and in excellent condition.

EDIT: Turns out we also have an extremely limited supply of BRAND NEW original IMI steel 35rd galil magazines still covered in cosmoline. These will only be sold in packs of 6 and we can not get more so once they are gone thats it

Used magazines 6pack for 165

Whatever happened to the gas tube rail mounts you were talking about?

Why does ArmsUnlimited only offer the Galil magazines in 6 packs? Do you plan on selling by single magazine in the future?

Due to shipping costs. Since we offer free shipping, we can fit 6 in a flat priority mailer its just easier for us this way and allows us to offer the magazines at a much better price. If we sell the magazines individually the pricing will be a bit more

Armsunlimited mags not as touted

I ordered 12 "brand new" Galil mags from Armsunlimited and they are not as advertised. Some are dented, one appears to have previous users initials scratched on it, some are pitted and they are not in cosmoline. I don't call that a brand new condition. Hey customer service. What's going on here?

C1,

Will do. It's possible mags classified as used were sent by mistake. At any rate, I will let you know after I press the matter.

We have well over 1000 magazines in stock, the NEW magazines came from the unfired micro galil kits we took in and are selling. Since there are less then 100 of the new magazines we made sure to inspect every single one of them, all of them still being covered in cosmoline. The remainder of the magazines were all from the same department but used lightly in training or everyday carry, none of them are rusted or non serviceable.

NONE of the magazines are in plastic packaging or something you'd expect to find off the shelf, they are from IMI and were sold with the original guns they belonged to. They have just been sitting unused in their protective oil for the past few years and never inserted into a weapon.

I'm not going to get into a tit-for-tat argument, but some of the "brand new" mags I received from Armsunlimited are not in what I would call new condition. They are in good condition, but dents, wear and some pitting are not what I consider brand new. We agree to disagree. Enough said. Over and out.

I was out of town when my package arrived, and the mags were pretty much as advertised. They were date marked from the late 70's to mid 80's (is this correct for IMI factory mags?) and all covered in a light coating of cosmoline. 5 mags displayed signs of minor pitting, but nothing that detracted from the finish. I'll use those for range mags when I get a Galil one of these days. But none of the mags had been used, and for $35/mag, I'm satisfied.

However, I was appalled by how they were shipped. They literally threw the mags in a flat rate USPS box. They didn't bother wrapping the mags in bubble or plastic wrap. So they were scraping against each other the entire time the box was in transit. Some mags had minor scuffs (nothing that penetrated the finish), but I'm surprised things didn't turn out worse.

I'd be hesitant to buy from Arms Unlimited again. If they were willing to ship the mags properly (and they came in the described condition), I'd consider another dozen though.

Blackthrone has the Orlite Galil mags. (brand new in the wrap); for 20.00 a piece.

I am not a big fan of Blackthrone; especially with their customer service. I did buy a batch of Orlites last summer when they had them for 15.00 a piece; and well worth it..
