I got this bolt I think at the 2003 Knob Creek show. Vendor had a bunch of IMI UZI parts. It was the same guy I got a full auto .40SW closed bolt from. He didn't know what he had back then. I don't think I have ever seen one of these bolts ever for sale. Yes .45 Open bolts were common but not .45 full auto closed bolts. I like my full size UZI's running around 600 RPM. This was more of a novelty and something nice to have as a collector but I have only shot it once in over 20 years. I shot it again yesterday just so I could get some video and documentation. I probably won't ever shoot it again.

Wow. I bet that could knock over some steel plates.

I’m impressed that it even runs. My 9mm closed bolt setup runs fast enough that the mag won’t keep up. I usually get 3-4-5 rounds before getting a jam.

It also runs fast enough, and I struggle to get a long enough burst that my 20-year-old PACT timer has trouble getting accurate readings. It doesn’t matter so much if you can get a longer burst, as that spreads out the error over more shots. If you can only get 4 or 5 shots and it’s off by .02 seconds, it makes a big difference. Whereas if you have 30 shots that are off by .02 seconds, the error is much less.

Maybe I need to go tinker some more. It’s been years since I’ve played with that setup.

I stopped using my old PACT MKIV for readings. Sent it back several times. I'm using the older version of this one: https://competitionelectronics.com/products/protimer-bt
I clocked my old closed bolt Micro in this video at 1611

I know the fastest was 1749 out of the same gun but I guess different ammo...different day, year etc...
But back then I was using the PACT Timer too so not sure if it is right or what. I need to do some testing again.

I haven't done any really fast cyclic rate comparisons of what the PACT MKIV can do vs the one I posted above.

I used to bring both timers with me to the range, load 10 rounds and make sure both timers counted 10 rounds. They never matched but typically close to each other but again, haven't done it with anything really fast as I typically don't care for high cyclic rate guns.

I also have a closed bolt 9mm setup for the full size. I'll try to bring that out and clock it but I thought many people already did that so didn't bother. I just did the .45 as it is so rare.
