Sorry I haven't posted in a while guys. been busy.
I figured this was worth a post.
Picked up My Magnum Research Galil today. This gun is old.
Serial number 00650. Converted by Jonathan Aurthur Ceiner registered receiver.
less than 100 rnds through it(well not any more). this thing is brand spankin new. No model number or letter. For all intensive purposses it is an AR.
But Not marked AR. I heard some of the early guns were like this but never seen one. in fact I have never even seen a transferable galil at all.
it's got a couple of marks on it but otherwise clean. fires beautifully.
Tritium sights are almost dead so I need some new ones. does anyone know where to get accessories. does anyone else have a transferable? anything I should get for it? I'll load up some pictures soon. Happy turkey day everyone.

there's a small number of either transferable (conversions) or pre-86 dealer sample FA guns out there. They are kind of hard-to-find and typically sell for $4-5K more than the going price for a garden variety AK or Valmet. I've had a few, including a Fleming conversion on a Model 372 and a pre-sample ARM. They make excellent full auto guns due to weight, and particularly when bipod equipped are quite smooth to shoot.

Let's not wait for Mike to post photos... ;) This thing is in AMAZING condition and we didn't experience a single failure of any kind with both thirty five and fifty round mags.
