Early Type Mp5 Cocking Handle

Anyone here have any experience with this style Cocking Handle. The Knob has broke off and the style is so early I can't find any replacements. The Round Handle is molded onto a Flat Tab. Will the newer type that have the round shaft work in this gun? Receiver is dated 9/73 on the top just forward of the rear sight.

Yeah, that looks like a G3-style folding cocking handle slot. I don't think one of the newer round handles ones will work.
You could always put one of the folding G3-style.

Good suggestion asking on hkpro - somebody will likely have an old one.

You could also replace the cocking tube support with a newer one (it will slip right in/out) that uses a more modern handle.
