The dual clip holder shown in the library for the Uzi magazines, were they an Action Arms product for the semi Uzi's, or did the IDF troops use them?

Thank you in advance,

Nick

Thank you Shadeone for the pictures.

Does anyone know how the IDF troops carried their spare magazines in the dual mag configuration? Special pouches?

im not sure how they carried spares in the magazine pouches but one thing ive noticed from looking at endless "in action" pics, is that the newer pictures of the IDF in action seem to show users favoring aiming the spare mack back towards the user instead of forward as seen above:

Oh boy, he said "clip".

Who cares... It's a colloquialism. When you say gay you don't always mean happy do you...yet that was the original meaning of the word... I always figured the whole clip versus mag thing was just a way for people to get their jollies by attempting to cause another person to feel inferior for not being intricately familiar with the history of firearms. No telling how many people have been turned off by this and similar attacks when they try to show an interest in guns..and to think, we want our hobby to be mainstream.

Shadeone is correct. These clip holders are still in use by the IDF today.

I wasn't being critical. I was just warning of the impending corrections that would undoubtedly come up. Sheesh.

I didn't mean to make you unhappy, you can go back to being gay now that I've explained myself.

You added nothing then and you've added nothing now. You're worthless so far. However, clever touch with the gay riposte.

Wow, someone skipped the Midol this month. To be fair, a "clip" is a different reloading device. I reload my SKS with clips, I reload my UZI with magazines. If you feel inferior misidentifying firearms parts or being ignorant of terms, pick a different hobby or just learn the vocabulary.
I wonder how many grandparents are put off from the hobby of video games by being laughed at for calling a controller a "joystick". Wait, no I don't nor do I care.

I can see using the dual mag configuration as your first two magazines, then going to single stick mags from the pouches. I just do not see the benefit of troops carrying a bunch of dual mag's banging around in a large pouch. Just doesn't seem practical.

he clearly said clip holders as in it clips the 2 magazines together. he used both the word magazine and clip in the proper context so the OP knows the difference.

That being said, I prefer the spare mag pointing back, seems less in the way.
