Pretty good price.

I bought one from Vector right after the end of the AWB. They gave you a choice of "Heat treated GI receiver" or "IMI receiver with bayonet lug". I went for the latter because I wanted IMI, but then at some point I got an attachment that used the bayonet lug to mount a very short rail that I had a bipod on for a while. That $1150 is a "pretty good price" is good to know.

As with every firearm project the receiver makes/breaks a project. Can't tell you the amount of time I've spent/wasted on my group UZI trying to get it to run because of receiver issues. The closest I can get to a IMI receiver'd full size vector on the left coast is $1500. I think if this person in VA was willing to deal with state-to-state transfer through FFL he'd have found a home for it already. If you run the math on a McKay build you are flirting with a thousand especially if you have the finish professionally done (which I suck at painting so yeah). Real IMI's are asking north of $1500 (well into the $2k's) these days so yeah if I was in the market for the next best thing to a real IMI(and live in VA) I would jump all over that listing.

Thanks for all the input. I actually wasn't interested in buying it, I was interested in seeing if it was legit. Thanks again!!
