Yeah besides my (2) CT9K's, I also had him re-core (2) .45 SMG cans to be fully serviceable and they are outstanding. I've been tempted to have him re-core an integral setup for me but not sure I want to do it for the CMMG RDB or wait for the JP-5 roller delayed.
I've got another CT9KS incoming as soon as he finishes up this next run.
FYI to people reading this thread, they make their suppressors in runs so if you are thinking about picking up a CT9KS now is the time to put in your order or ask your local SOT to order one for you.
Worked out really well. Fouling doesn't stick to the internals anymore. I also got a bunch of powder coated bullets from a friend of mine and started shooting them through my CT9KS that has had the silicone treatment and running an experiment to see if this will be a bad idea or not.
I also had (5) cans broken down by Joe at Curtis Tactical so they are now fully serviceable. One of them is my old Gemtech Hornet (full auto 22LR can) that was advertised for heavy full auto fire but the core was not serviceable. It has 3 SS baffles laser welded together and had him part them off and they were full of lead. He blasted them and then I gave them the silicone treatment.
I have since run several belts from my 22LR LM7 belt fed upper through it but haven't bothered to look inside yet.
I'm looking at getting a CT45KS with internal mounting threads of 1.125x28 so it can take mount options like the SilencerCo Alpha stuff. This will primarily be on a CMMG Banshee. Anyone have experience with this in 45?

I've always like to say that good things come to those who wait. I have a suppressor I'm getting from them and its been 24 days since they submitted the eform 3. There have been slow approvals from the NFA branch on all forms which now includes eform's. I have seen eform 3 approvals as far out as 3 weeks and as little as 4 days. Hopefully it will be soon!!
Hmm....I didn't know he did the same design in .45.
Any links to actual pictures of this one?
I do have a friend that has an original 'MK9K' by Gemtech that was done if .40SW a long time ago.
No pictures, just email communication. I emailed asking about the CT9KS design in .45 thinking he'd have to redesign a little bit and modify parts to make one. I told him what I was looking for and his email back opened with, "We have CT9KS and CT45KS suppressors available." I said that I didn't even see that CT45KS was an option. He replied that he was working on getting someone to make a new web site for them.

Im not terribly impressed, functional sound reduction on my MP5 to my ears sounds the same as my 3 lug Ti-Rant 9 and I prefer the Latka spring type mount to the Bixler style screw on mount. It's well built but IMO the only reason to get one is if you prefer the short fat can to a longer skinner can and don't have a mount preference. If you want a pouch, the Rifles Only Fatty size small fits perfectly (I like the black multicam…

Since I have several MK9K's the mount compatibility is great for me but understand those that don't have MK9Ks don't care about that.
The ease of serviceability is also a huge plus for me. With the coaxial design and shim stock, just dump the core in any harsh chemicals and/or ultrasonic. Inside of outer tube never gets fouled.
I took my CT9KS apart this morning to see how the build up is looking.
This is why I love this design. No concerns about cleaning this thing with the materials used (SS) and the shim stock will make this a breeze.
