Got a Century WLA Sterling last year, just picked up a nice new set of grips to replace the shabby ones that it came with. The new ones don't fir, looks like WLA hogged out about a quarter inch or so off the top of the grip panel to make it mate up. Curious as to why there would be that difference from a full auto to semi auto conversion.
Also, since I was stripping it down anyway, I took the barrel out to give everything a good wipe down. When I re install the barrel does it index properly on it's own, or is there anything I need to watch for. I know on my Uzi you just tighten it down and it indexes on its own just fine.
Now just wish the weather would cooperate and I could go get it dirty again....

Now that I have it back together, I see what you mean. Pretty simple

I am not sure what you are looking at on the grip. There is a block on the semi receiver to prevent an unmodified (auto) trigger pack from being installed. The cut out might be for it.
