Anyone have one or shot one? Have an opportunity to pick one up locally, would fit nicely in my movie gun collection- featured in the Matrix Reloaded, Blade Runner and used by Jonah Hill (of WoWS) in 21 Jumpstreet. I’m aware of the heavy double action etc etc.

No personal experience, but Ian ran one in a backup gun match. He was not impressed with the performance.

Looks like it's about the same size as a J frame, but thinner. Or about the size of a modern micro-9mm.

So for actual use, crap. As a cool curio, why not if the price is right?

As an act of charity I sold one for a local fellow when he needed to liquidate his gun collection.

Too heavy for concealed carry.

Too small for .357 mag.

I could have bought it but saw no real value.

Thanks Scott it’s a novelty for sure- not a useful tool. I’d only shoot 38 out of it if at all.

Too heavy for a 2 shot. But at the right price, I'd still buy.

I shot one of my friends who was a big derringer guy, about 10 years ago. It was a stinger for sure with magnum loads. .38's were ok. I have always wanted one for the novelty value of it, and as a conversation piece. Every time I personally have come by one, the seller wanted too much for it. I would still buy one today if the price was agreeable for the same reasons.
