I'm looking to purchase one, maybe two full-auto COBRAY M11's for my collection. What's a fair market value for something like this? I see a few on GunBroker but the prices seem a tad bit higher than I would expect. 15k for good condition & 1 mag? Is there anywhere else I should be looking?

Recent selling prices on GunBroker are:
1) $8,861.65 for a gold plated M11/9 with faux suppressor
2) $12,275 for one new in the box
3) $10,025 with Lage 22LR conversion

You just have to wait to find a real auction on GunBroker or find one elsewhere. Most for sale are not really for sale, just people looking for suckers.

Rubin is selling them for $15k, so I'd say that's a clear sign that's the top of the market right now.

10-12k for an 11/9 these days. Ridiculous but it’s only gonna get worse as supply dwindles now that people actually want these guns due to the LAGE uppers being available… before the LAGE 5.56mm you couldn’t GIVE an SWD m11/9 SMG away, they were like 3k 5 years ago. Crazy!

It's been a bit more than 5 years since they were 3.5k. In 2016, they were hovering between 5.5 and 6.5k, and by 2020, they were pushing high 8s.

Yes, you could find a MAC under 5500 bucks on occasion, but they sold faster than smack at Sturgis.

And as for today, to quote the old saying, "It's worth whatever someone will pay."

I see Reuben slanging them at 15k, and Mr. "We Trade!" on gunbroker is gunning for 20k currently, but that putz also has $2300 MAK 90s, and $2000 semi M11/9s...

That said, some folks have more money than time (or sense).

I find the M11/9 right now to be $12,000 new in the box you will sell it quickly, $13,000 eventually and at $14,000 you are telling the world you own it. Ruben gets his prices because it is effortless transaction - almost like a concierge. You send him money and there are no snags at all. Odds are no matter what price you buy at, it will be worth more before the Form 4 clears. You can’t buy too high, just too early. My last M11/9 gained enough in NFA jail to cover a Lage MK 2, 31C, a Fleming .22 kit, 48 stick mags and 7 drums. I would say just buy a local one from a trusted SOT or mail Ruben a check. It is only money. I see people all the time waffling over $500-$1,000 and in the meantime they go up that much. Just my $.02.

You’re talking about the guy with the red table on GB? I could be mistaken and don’t quote me on this, but I seem to recall reading (I think on this board) that he is a money laundering operation LOL (it may have been keystone, the other red table exorbitantly priced seller)

He was trying to sell a 30 dollar National magazine m10/9 mag for 200 bucks recently.
