So, as part of a package deal, I ended up with this Ciener 556 suppressor. I’m not sure it‘s even worth the $200 I paid for the tax stamp, but overall, I got a smoking deal on Powder Springs MAC 10 with a Coastal suppressor.
My problem is that it appears to be missing a threaded insert that goes between the cap and the suppressor body.
Does anybody have any idea where I might find one or who could make one? Any help is appreciated!

That was my first silencer, I still have it, it would have came with two sets of those tapered split collars stamped with the silencers S/N one set of collets is for AR15 thin profile barrel and one is for the heavy barrel. The threads to thread onto the barrel are about 6" inside the silencer. Then the knurled cap is tightened to compress the split cones around the barrel rearward of the threads but in front of the front sight. It is quite quiet with many aluminum basic coned baffles, it can handle one 30 rnd magazine full auto, but trying to go for two back to back will melt baffles.

Ok, I see now what you are talking about! Unfortunately the only tapered collar that came with this must be for a pencil barrel, because it won’t fit any that I have.
I wonder if someone could make a set? Or what the cost would be?

Contact Chili on this Forum. He made some adapters for me and they are quality.

This is what is so great about this site! All the internet searches I did provided zero information, but here I was quickly able to get first hand experience!
You guys are great!

This is a great site. While everyone doesn’t necessarily agree, most members here are good people who want to help instead of making personal attacks. This is my number one site and has been for years.
