I cut my Max-31 down to a K version (Sawed the front right of, at the trunnion) and run a CF bolt in it on 380 with a ILWT shorty barrel.. super slow ROF. With 11/9 you can shoot FA 22, 380, 9mm, .40 and eventually 223 & maybe 12 gauge. Hard to beat.

I researched and sat in the fence for years.... Since a m11/9 was 3500 bucks and they were too much money... :bang:bangNow An m11/9 is what I have in nfa jail. And even tho I don't have it there is nothing in that price range that compares in the ability to be so many different things. M11/9 beats All the other mac series guns in aftermarket options.

If I had it to do all over again I would have bought an M16 first.

I think I'm 99% sold on the m11/9, just too versital to ignore and in my budget. my best local option is a dealer that has one in good shape with a CAC-9 for $7800 before bartering.

Really don't want the can, will try to get it pulled out of deal.

Anyone know of a good deal out there from a rock solid dealer? willing to pay more for peace of mind.

M11/9 is a good choice if you don't want to spend a lot of money. Put the Lage upper on it and its a decent subgun.

Is the gun in-state? If not, i'd try to lose the silencer. There's no market for used silencers and you'll be paying $400 in taxes to get it. That said, the guy probably won't drop the price much if you tell him you don't want the silencer.

I assume the gun is out of state. If not, you don't need a dealer. If it is, check on the subguns site recommended dealer's list.

I too wish I'd bought an M-16 instead, but good God, those things were $8000! I could buy three uzis for that price.

if you only want 9mm, .22lr and .223 you picked the right gun for yourself......id still think about the mac 10....i like .45 ,9mm and .223...by the time you get your gun in your hands odds are the mac 10/16 will be coming out......so you lose .22lr, but gain .45......i like a big full size gun and i like blasting .45.........

what is the asking price on the m11/9 if you wish to share it? market is low right now...its a good time to buy...they were up to $8,500+....id think an average condition one would be $7,000 right now.....or maybe less if its a good deal

the ones i see listed for more arent selling

It's listed at 7800 with suppressor. I believe there is some room for negotiations as well.

i vote for $7,300 if its in excellent shape w/ the suppressor as being a good price right now...do a gunbroker search on sold auctions....see what they actually sell for...suppressors are almost worthless 2nd hand...nice to have and some value there, but now more than a couple hundred....

the days of $8500 Mac 11's are in the past right now

Actually, the days of the $8500 Mac11s are in the near future and will quickly surpass that once the max/16 shows.

Care to bet just 18 months from now m11s start at $9k+? Odds are slightly against me on the timeframe but otherwise safe.

PM your bet if you'd prefer. ;)

you may be correct....right now they are almost back to pre july 16 pricing.....for 9mm mac 10's-ive never seen so many for sale!!!..

most mac owners arent on the forum, so it may take a while before the word gets out on the 11/16, but i do agree....if other manufacturers also start coming out with uppers values could rise like crazy....

Feeling like I stole my m11/9 seeing "$6995 firm" being considered spot on and sold quickly.

Cobray Zytel mags are almost worthless compared to new metal Zmags.

Zytels might last 500 rounds each unless you do surgery on the feedlips with a kit available. $35 each? No, the gunbroker page full of them is static, only semi auto buyers that have no clue purchase Zytels.

You (should) only buy Zmags or maybe Pam2 mags (that need work like GG mags for M10s).
