Just got a notice that the UZI barrel I ordered has been shipped. When I talked to the customer service guy a couple weeks ago he said they were being produced at that time and they should have all the styles by the end of this month.

Looks like they are in stock now :D

Barrel is already threaded 3/4 X 10 tpi to allow use of a MAC suppressor. I already owned a can for my M11/9, so an $85.00 Uzi barrel investment allowed me to use one suppressor on 2 sub guns.

My 2cts here. If you buy, order over the phone. I ordered by internet and after 2 weeks I checked to see where my order was. They said back order. Was I going to get told???

Bushmaster UZI barrels...

Bushmaster Tech Support & Sales: 800 998-7928
Customer Service: 800 883-6229

I had inquired about these & was told that they are NOT monolithic 3/4 x 10 TPI with an opened up barrel nut, but are 9/16 x 18 with an adaptor threaded 3/4 x 10.
:eek!

Hmmm, personally I don't care too much for adapters. One more place for an alignment to get screwed up. Karl.

Was the barrel itself threaded 3/4 x 10 or did it have an adapter?

The Bushmaster barrel has an adapter to put the MAC can on. There is not enough thickness to the barrel to thread it 3/4 X 10. You have a regular Uzi barrel that has threads on it. You put this barrel in your Uzi, put on the barrel nut, and then the adapter threads onto the barrel until it butts up against the barrel nut. The MAC can then screws onto this adapter. Works well.

Ummm too bad. The original run from Bushmaster and RPB were threaded just like a MAC. Adapters aren't ALL bad, but they aren't created equally.

Yup, that's the way my barrel was. Threaded, and you use a modified barrel nut. But as long as the suppressor tightens against the barrel nut, it shouldn't come loose. Karl.
