I picked up a registered sear in a burst pack. The host is an MP5K. Selector switch moved very easy to the 4 positions. When I took it out of the lower to put in a full sized 9mm lower, the selector was very hard to move in the new lower. Easy to move outside of the lower. Same thing when I initially put it back in the K lower. And the compression spring rod properly sitting on the stop. Looking for advise from the UziTalk brain trust. Am I just putting the ambi selector levers back together too tight?

That’s a normal problem. You have to push down on the small lever on the left side of the pack if looking from back of gun as you install the selector. Also have to make sure the burst counting lever on the right is in the right location.

Look up a YouTube video on burst pack assembly. I know it helped me.

Thanks. I have pushed down on the lever and the compression rod is set against the stop in the right position. It's still very tight.

What Benaj said... Also be sure that both selectors are squeezed together in the initial reassembling position so that there is no gap between the selectors and the sidewall of the grip housing on either side. This is a good indication that alignment is correct, and that you can proceed with rotating them into position with the release lever depressed. Good luck.
