Best New Design Silencer For HK53?

I have the surefire socom 5.56 it's really heavy and ultra gassy on ARs and even my scar 16s. I would look to get something with less back pressure. It does however have the best sound of any 5.56 can I've tried
A lot of people use muzzle brakes as sacrificial blast baffles to help protect the actual blast baffle of the suppressor. Since the muzzle brake isn’t a registered part (nor welded into the silencer), you can replace it easily as it nears failure.
I’ve never suppressed a HK53, but a Huxwrx Flow 556k might be worth looking into for several reasons:
1) no barrel length restrictions;
2) extremely low back pressure;
3) has features to make it self-tighten during use which might be helpful for full auto strings;
4) it has been tested to pass 6 cycles of “SOCOM Reliability Stress Test,” which seemingly refers to the SURG testing protocol; and
5) it uses a folded-path design without typical baffles that purportedly makes it more resistant to wear.
However, it is not the quietest suppressor out there, though I suspect nothing will be that quiet on an 8.3” 5.56. Nonetheless, I like mine a lot since the AR I have it on still acts more or less the same without requiring a lot of tuning. No harsh cycling or gas to the face. I haven’t gotten around to trying it in full auto yet.
Slowmo that sounds great indeed. The 53 has the unique type spindles near the barrel tip, and the odd ish /HK 15x1 RH threads - my big concern in making the whole suppressor system work well altogether... then it has the locking piece issue as well, likely be a #3 that is bit slower vs. a #15. It's a PITA because back in the mid '70s the 53 seems not to have been "designed" as a suppressor full auto real shorty (8.3") SBR friendly platform... say Vs. It's 9mm "purpose" built little brother the HK MP5 / HK MP5 SD. Recken to hear also anyone that made all this work well together, as non common as a suppressed 53 is? The "secret sauce" if you will, seen the two HK sites online but nothing yet especially with the more recent cool Huxwrx possibilities! Thanks again Slowmo for your insights!

I have a Vector V53 SBR and recently had the opportunity to run it with a Registered Sear, thanks to @rssc. Frankly, I really enjoyed shooting it and have been thinking about suppressing it. I only have a couple cans (only one that can handle it) but was thinking about buying another locking piece and trying to find a direct thread hub adapter for the 15X1 threads.
This thing is a fire breather!
I have a Vector V53 SBR and recently had the opportunity to run it with a Registered Sear, thanks to @rssc. Frankly, I really enjoyed shooting it and have been thinking about suppressing it. I only have a couple cans (only one that can handle it) but was thinking about buying another locking piece and trying to find a direct thread hub adapter for the 15X1 threads.
This thing is a fire breather!

If you like a "fire breathing dragon", then look into a 53K. I had Jeff at Parabellem Combat Systems make me a couple. The 51K makes an even bigger fire ball, but I think it's too much. I think the 53K is just right.

So what would you use for a locking peice for a 53K in 300 BLK OUT? There's a huge difference in energy between subsonic and supersonic? Would the 53K cycle with supersonic unsurpressed and subsonic with a suppressor? It sounds like a cool concept.

You certainly are entitled to your opinion, but to me, since you already have a 53, I would think that a 53K would be a better fit. The 53K is smaller, lighter, and uses cheaper ammo.
At one time I had 25 host guns. I don't own a double rear pin host gun, but I have four receivers tucked away. More than half of the host guns are configurations that HK never made.
I have four different 9mm four different .45 ACP Subgun magazine systems, but only one 5.56X45 magazine system. My 53K, 53, and 33K barreled receivers were made with SW53 AR and SW93 AR receivers so they use AR mags instead of HK mags.
Needless to say, I am not an HK purist. The MP5K-10 is a lot of fun. And you don't have to wear leather gloves so the fire ball won't burn off the hair on the back of your hand.
