Consider an AR15 CMMG 22LR tower adapter too. Bigger market.

I've got mags built for m11/m11a1/m10-9/m10-45/ar15/mini14/hk91-22 If I get one working the rest will be easy. And they all have replaceable feed lips.

The AR-15 semi auto might not be too difficult to get working reliably, but an M16 presents a complication not found in open bolt, full auto applications; namely, the additional force required to trip the auto sear. No personal experience, but from what I've read, AM-180 drum mag and belt fed .22LR apparatuses for reliable M16 use often require "tweaking" the auto sear mechanism.
MHO, YMMV, etc. Be well. 2A

Probably why Craig Wheatly uses an open bolt FCG for his M16/AM180 upper.

Also why converting a CMMG 22 LR closed bolt to open bolt for the Lage Max-11A1/15 will be my next project.

So after playing with a closed bolt cmmg 22lr bolt for a few months in my max11/15 and getting no where I decided to try an open bolt design with it. Here are my 3d printed models assembled with the bolt. Sear catch and "hammer" is controlled with its own recoil spring with op rod while the bolt uses the standard cmmg spring. Controlling the sear catch and "hammer" with a internal spring other than something like Richards irm is most likely going to draw the wrath of the atf so in the end I decided to build my dedicated m11/22 upper which in reality is what I really wanted anyway.

Awesome videos.

If I can get my 22 running somewhat decent I’d like to get a Bazooka Brothers 22 mag Kit and loader.

Any chance we can get pictures of some of these?
Whats the chances that we will be able to buy em (Hk and m11)?

mak91's M11A1 22 upper uses his well designed 22 LR mags for the small grip M11A1 frames. It would have been great if they worked with the Lage 22 uppers but the Lage barrel insert/chamber is too far to the rear to use the mak91 mags. I look forward to mak's M11A1 upper if it becomes a reality.

Right now I'm using 20 rd HK 270 mags. I was working on an HK 270/AM180 mag Drum adapter but it was not reliable.

Here are pictures on the mac series of mags with the uppers. I don't have pictures of the hk/ar15 or mini14 mags right now. They are all in various stages of testing or development right now. I don't really see the ar15 or mini 14 mags being made and sold other than as a possible adapter for the a180 drum. Since there are no high cap mags for the hk91/22 that I know on they could become available as both stand alone mags and as a adapter for the a180 drum.

If you need someone to beta test the 22 M11A1, let me know. I already have one of your mags.

Man that’s cool. Please keep posting progress, I’m interested in those uppers.

What’s the price point going to be for an m11/nine and a PS m11?

In case you hadn’t seen these. They’re not reliable in my conversion kit

https://www.blackdogmachinellc.net/hk91-g3-22-adaptor.aspx

I can assure you the HK91/G3 mags that’s being worked on are way and I mean way more reliable than Black Dogs. I spent some hard earned money on their mag conversion kit and also purchased some extra mags to go with it. Needless to say, I was pissed after the first time trying them.

So you’ve got one?
Can we see pictures of the hk mags or a video

I’d really be interested in HK mags (along with Mac stuff of course).

My HK 22 kit runs far superior to any 22 conversion MG kit I have. It also runs far better than my Norrel 10/22 MG

Are your upper stl or 3mf files available to fit a 3d printed m11 lower?
