This has turned into a legendary thread!! Some great pics in here! I have a few of those Cobray diplomas, they are not filled out but have the exact same signatures in the red and blue pen, were they hand signed or copies???

Those police photos were not taken at the farm, but the MAC range did have bleachers, I took a (nostalgic) picture of them because they were all rotted, and I just thought of all the activity there many years ago. I will see if I can find it.
Thanks for posting these old pictures guys!

What in the world is this gun?
It kinda looks like and M14/M1A receiver with a large OD barrel and large chassis for it. Maybe an m14 converted to a shotgun.

Now that you mention it, I’m not sure I recognize any of those guns.

I think there’s two AA12’s (the OG models at least). They were developed at MAC by Atchisson. Also, if you notice there’s M16/15 22LR (Atchisson) conversions there.
Looks like a Velmet and maybe a Reising too.

The Garand/m14 action with the weird chassis, I can’t figure out. I’m guessing a shotgun conversion.

Is that a supressed M3 Attack Force Z style?

Love the BQM talk. That was an awesome catalog back in the mid 80’s. I was just thinking about BQM last week when I was putting my Assault Systems sub gun case away.

The rifle with the magazine inserted, just in front of the guy leaning over opening the box of ammo, is a Bushmaster Assault Rifle.

More vintage MAC photos! The good old days!

Photo 008 the late Don Thomas co-author of the MAC MAN book, 0045 Max and John Foote, 0011 Max demoing his CRACK gun, 2 and 3 Max's CRACK rifle. Photos 10 and 11 are of one of the guns on the bleachers at the MAC range in a previous post, One of Atchisson’s curved barrel .22 rifle the rifle appears to have a very short barrel, but the legal-length 16-inch barrel extends to the end of the buttstock where it is loaded from the breech via a hinged buttplate.

List of ATL Mac serial numbers
And a picture of the bleachers mentioned in an earlier post where Mitch WerBell was sitting. I thought I had a close-up of them, but I don't. I just remember the wood was rotted. And I had a nostalgic moment thinking of the picture of Mitch and all the guns sitting on them many years prior.

I always wanted one of his 3/4 scale 22LR Sterlings. I bought a magazine off GB.

010-52.jpg

.. or any of his 45 acp SMGs.

... or his M10A2 or 20% smaller M11A2.
