Hello all, I have a CMMG Short barrel Rifle in 45ACP. I like it a lot but I cant find a 45acp Muzzle Brake. There are some good 556 brakes out there as well
as 9mm. But the companies that I know dont offer a 45acp brake. Can anyone recommend one that reduces flip so repeat shots are faster?
Thanks

SiCo and JMac make some. I'm in a similar boat but mine need to work with my suppressor.

+1. I've never really been impressed enough with any pistol caliber muzzle devices even in full auto....
I'm not saying they are totally ineffective...but the slight improvement is not worth it to me to have to deal with especially if it isn't compatible with my suppressor.

That said, I just use 3 lug mounts for most pistol caliber applications...9mm / 40SW and .45ACP full auto M16 applications included.

My .45 CMMG RDB setup here: http://www.c3junkie.com/?page_id=841
Using Griffin Armament 10mm/45 3 lug mounts pictured below.

For the UZI, I like the barrel nut mount.

Not liking the original CMMG SV Brake?

Have you checked out the Recoil Technologies AR15 "Stub" Brake or the KAK Compensator?
