Anyone shoot precision rifle?

Out to 1,000 yards is my area of interest. I've gotten out to 600 with decent success.

Looking for a good internet discussion forum as well, where I can learn stuff. :silly Seriously thinking about doing the precision rifle course at Rockcastle Shooting Ctr - 4 hrs from the house.

MG's are fun, and 3-gun is entertaining, but precision rifle is my passion.

I did some, I recommend taking a good course, that is what I did. Reaching out to 1K is easy enough with decent optics and a good spotter. I managed to get to 1200 with my $400 set up...but that was the limit. Snipershide is a good place for discussion.

It’s fun, but running and gunning with Subguns is more my idea of a good time.

Sniper's Hide is a good place to start. I got most of the info needed from local shooters. There are three ranges within 30min of me that go to 600yds and two of them 800yds.
