A&S Conversions
UZI Talk Life Member

Hey guys, I wrote to AA on December 16th this email through the site and the email address listed on the site. I have yet to hear back:
Dear Sir or Madam,
The message below was sent through the AA website. Please contact me at your soonest convenience either through this email or by phone (702) XXX-XXXX. Thank you for your time and consideration.
I bought one of your S.A.B.R.E uppers for the M10 from XXX. He had gotten on the list for a RPB M10 he had which I had purchased from him in May. While waiting on the transfer, I had Tom ship the lower to Sam at Practical Solutions to have him go through several additional uppers for upgrades. Sam shipped the lower back to Tom. I had Tom get Bentwood Gunsmithing to make the hole in the receiver.
The lower has had the Uzi grip conversion done. In the 50 page thread on MAC Talk a couple of guys had said that the Uzi converted lowers needed the semi trip removed to run, but didn't mention any other issues. I had bought a AR stock conversion from AA.
There seems to be rubbing in the bolt group of the upper. I pulled the upper apart. With the bolt group in one half of the receiver, it seems like the piston is rubbing inside the tube. I lubed the bolt group and put the upper back together and took it out to try it yesterday (Sunday 12/15). I first tried the upper with one round in the mag. It had enough strength to strip the round from the mag and chamber it. There was a slight dimple in the primer, but not enough to fire it. The extractor did grab the rim of the round. I pulled the handle back to cock it again and the round extracted. I pulled the mag, inserted the round in the chamber, pulled the gun up and it fired. I did this several times with the same result. The shells was ejected about 4-8 ft away.
I had a used recoil spring in the stock. We pulled the gun apart to try the new spring to see if that would help. Same result. When we pulled the S.A.B.R.E upper off the lower we noticed that the bolt carrier had caught the feed ramp and bent it back into the magwell.

Please let me know what you can do.

I just spent several months and over $1,200 having Sam at Practical Solutions go through the lower and several uppers. There has been some mention about the semi auto trip causing issues with the Uzi grip modified M10s. But I had heard nothing about the feed ramp bending 180 degrees. I broke it, I'll pay to fix it. I'm just not sure what to do. I'd like some input from AA, but nor response. Any help would be appreciated.
