I've run a bazillion rounds on my CFW-A bolt, okay, I'm exaggerating, it's actually just slightly over a half bazillion rounds. Anyway, I bent the ejector rod and in replacing that I see that the spring is compressing onto itself and the spring rod is getting peen on the side when the bolt reverses.

Does anyone know where Tom got the parts to make up the CFW bolt assemblies? I can go to the usual sources but since his parts lasted so long I'd like to use the same.

Yup I remember his posting he was having trouble finding small parts so just resorted to having them made.
Finding the shop(s) that made them would be great they probably still have the code and materials sheet of the stock/supplier used.

When I bought the "A" bolt I have from Practical Solutions (some time after Mr. Wright was no longer selling them), I sourced the added on parts (cocking knob and its retainer parts, and parts to make a custom recoil assembly) from Practical Solutions and FTF.
Best of luck with your efforts.
MHO, YMMV, etc.
