Still in the works. Havnt had a chance to do much with it lately. It's a hobby/side thing and not my day job.

Getting pretty close to getting materials on hand and during up the milling machine for the Type 2. Trying to figure out how I want to fixture it and making the machining prints.

I've been slacking on this project a bit.

Still in progress. Haven't gotten much Reising time lately. Been working on old Czech belt feds.

I need to stop saying yes to everyone that wants something and get back to this!

Sorry it is taking so long. It is a side project and not my day job but that is no excuse.

I’m going to try modding a magwell to take uzi mags. It really doesn’t look complicated. Parts are on order, I should know my next week why nobody does this 🤪

I've found there are a few tricks to get it to work reliability. I'm long past the foam or wood inserts I've seen in the past.

A guy in my club just cut down an Uzi grip frame and fitted it inside the Reising magwell. Uses stock Uzi .45 mags

Hard to find 45ACP Uzi anything on my side of the country. Had to go a state over just to find a conversion kit for a buddy and that's the only one I've ever seen.

I think you can use a standard uzi grip. I’m not sure about the grip fitting into a magwell. That seems too tight to me. I’m curious how he managed it.

Yes, it was a standard Uzi grip. He cut off everything except the rectangular tube that holds the mag and it slipped into the Reising magwell. He added a hole for the Reising mag release to catch. AFAIK It can be removed and H&R or Christie mags inserted without any additional changes

For those of us that are not as inventive ( ME ) how
is this done and the cost of the Uzi grip? Where
would I buy an Uzi grip and are there variations of
the Uzi grip? Appreciate any help and or pics on
this subject as Reising mag prices are very high?

I’m trying not to hijack this thread, so I start d a new one. The uzi conversion ran into some trouble, and would not feed. I’m trying to figure out what I am missing.
