Anyone getting / have a new Uzi PRO Pistol yet?

Or if anyone has detailed knowledge of them. Does the standard uzi pistol lower mount up to them if you remove that polymer looking lower on there now? The new version uses a new style selector switch, but that shouldnt be an issue since all of the original style selector internals would be on the replacement old-style lower....

I am wondering because I would like to get a new PRO pistol with the railed top cover and side charging bolt, but I absolutely hate the lower on them and would like to put the angled trigger guard style original micro uzi lower on there instead... Considering the price of Action Arms uzi pistols these days I think this route would be cheaper then getting a AA pistol and hacking it up to be a sidecocker model...

I've been thinking of doing exactly the same thing, I SPECULATE that provided that you have all the correct parts, you should be able to "retrofit" an UZI Pro into the original style. I can't imagine them not designing the parts to be backwards/forwards compatible.

I have mine on pre-order from Cope's from almost an year ago, whatever IWI is doing, they sure are taking their time, just like they did with the Tavor.

I talked to them in August and they said they would ship in October. As far as I know, they aren't shipping yet.

You are rite, they are not anywhere to be bought yet, maybe Christmas time if we are lucky.

So who knows if IWI even has them in their posession... I asked on their facebook page and they replied that they had to forward my (simple) question to IWI israel and will let me know what they find out... You know.. instead of just sending me a picture of a stripped receiver so I could tell instantly... :bang

just give it some time, they are in the products page at the wholesalers, that's a great sign.
