Anyone ever suppress a Walther P-1/P-38?

I am thinking cut and thread back to the slide and relocate the front sight to the front of the slide. I think there are some factory guns out there in similar configuration, but not threaded. What do you think, good idea?

Did one a while back, worked quite well.

We have done a couple in the last month (p1). Blows out more trash at you because of the open slide, but not bad. I would not shoot one wet for that reason.

I've got one - with a lightweight can it works well - if you have a heavier can it should have a LID/Nelsen/Inertia Decoupler
