I just hate to buy it and have the flat nose be jam o matic

I can appreciate that. I wasn't paying a lot of attention to the bullet nose when I ordered a case of it, so I'm was worried before shooting it for the first time.

Right now Cabela's has Herter's select 9mm on sale for $9.99 a box and a free shipping code 5WINTER with no minimum. This ammo is made by Seiler & Belot. It's good to go.

Go thru www.ebates.com for an additional 6% cash back.

Thanks!

Went with SG, 1K, 147 Speer Lawman, $216 delivered.

Also splurged on 500 Piney Mountain 9mm tracers from UNAMMO. Their .22's work great.

Lage MAX-11 MK2 shipped today - should be a good week coming up.

Flat nose doesn't run worth a crap in my M10/9 doublefeed.

TulAmmo 115gr 9mm for $159.90

http://www.jgsales.com/9mm-tulammo-115gr,-fmj-ammo,-1000rd-case.-p-5579.html

I know it's the bottom of the barrel for even steel cased, but it ran perfectly in my AMP-10 upper and at $160 per 1k, it's hard to beat that price.

Now, here's another chancy one.

AmmoClearance.com sells remanufactured brass cased ammo (LeadHead and Northern Hills Precision) pretty cheap and do free shipping for orders over $200. I bought 3k rounds of the LeadHead 115gr 9mm from them, but I still haven't shot any, so I can't vouch for quality whatsoever (but I can vouch that you will actually get your ammo).

Northern Hills Precision 147gr 9mm remanufactured brass - $180.00

Ever since I had an OOB from reman Freedom Munitions Ammo, I don't do reloads that I didn't make in my Mac. It looks like some of these reman's are bluged causing the case to be tight in the chamber allowing the firing pin to ignite the primer before it loaded fully. I swapped over to Wolf steel case and it's been flawless.

Once youve had an out of battery experience 8 inches from your face, you kinda get religion!!!!!

While I've had my share of duds in remans, I had an old Israeli surplus 9mm subgun round squib, only to be followed by another round. The boom was big and I got a nice scar in my right shoulder from the case shrapnel (I'm left handed).

I think problems can happen with just about anything. I shot through a ton of LAX ammo reloads with no problems, so I'm still willing to give reloads a shot.

I had the same experience with their "new" 147 gr. ammo. The problem was the shitty brass they used to make it. Never had a problem with their reloads.

Looks like out of stock now, but that is damn cheap. Garbage ammo that I wouldn't feed my MAC, but enables me to feed my pistols and keep the Winchester White box for the MAC.

yeah...that centerfire deal was sweet. i jumped on 3k of it promptly when the ad hit. i bet they did sell out quickly.

be careful though.. notice the crimp.. i ringed my barrel a couple of times with it. extracted the case but left a ring in the barrel at the crimp and above. have Cerrosafe on hand if you plan to buy a lot of this ammo

What does that mean? Were they sqibs? What actually happens?
