Atlantic Arms MFG Model AA 89K 9mm Pistol. This semi auto pistol is close copy to the Famous Heckler & Koch MP5K also know as the SP89 . The AA 89K is built with a Tungsten filled Full Auto bolt carrier and is a great platform for the shooter who wishes to install a NFA Full Auto sear pack or NFA Short Barreled rifle. We happy to start offering this quality pistol and will have a full sized pistol and rifle in the near future .

Uhm, this thread is several years old. I don't think Atlantic is having these manufactured anymore. They are, however, selling the Omega MP5, MP5K, and MP5SD semi-auto guns and barreled uppers at not unreasonable prices.

I SBRd one last year, I was wondering if these were made originally by DJ Getz, fellow at SARCO says he believes they were. Very well made.

I bought an Omega MP5 a couple of months ago. The day after it arrived I sent in the Form 1. I didn't have to change anything as it is made in the US, not imported. It is also sear ready. It shoots fine as a pistol and it looks great. Probably get to shoot it as a SBR next year.

I am looking at the Omegas as well. Which one did you get? The pistol or the full size MP5?
