Some UZI ballistics data was gathered by one of the board members. You can get a good idea of what is hot from that. It is here:

I do not like the Winchester Value Pack 9mm a great deal either. I use it in limited circumstances. It is inconsistent, even though the data shows it as fairly hot. I believe there was a thread on Hirtenberger ammo as well, that noted ammoman.com may have some right now.

I've found it to be one of the most consistently loaded 9mm ammunitions out there without paying 20 dollars per box of 50. I have fired thousands of rounds of it this year alone and not once have I had a malfunction using it that was ammunition related. I have found bad rounds due to being crushed but never a bad round ballistically. I find it to be very accurate and is by far the best value for the dollar that there is in 9mm ammo currently available to just about everyone today.
I'm curious as to what you are referring to as inconsistent? Are you referring to velocities, accuracy, OAL, overall quality of appearance?
Other than steel cased Wolf ammo, there isn't another brand of new ammuniton that holds a candle to the Winchester value packs sold by Walmart and a few other places.
Dollar for dollar, the quality and consistency is unmatched by anyone in the ammo business today. Its so good, its getting hard to find at times because its such a good deal. It disappears off the shelf as soon as its stocked in my area.
What do you recommend as a comparable value in 9mm ammo for blasting out of a subgun? I think its as good as S&B, or Fiocci or Remington, or Federal and a hell of a lot cheaper too.
