Hi all....My friend has 3, 32 round Sten mags he wants to sell.

Problem is, he's not sure how much he wants for them. Is there any interest out there. Condition is good.

Thanks

I'd say $30-$60 for all three. I've never paid more than $5/mag but the going rate is higher these days.

Haha they're probably the most common magazine in the world, wonder why he'd think they were worth a lot?

when i was looking it was a bit hard to find....then i found BRP had tons of them....without knowing BRP has them you might think they are hard to find...its not like other mags where every supplier has them...all thats left are the ugly/ heavily used ones....BRP's are NOS

I had a guy walk into a gunshow last fall with a bag full of them, if I recall there were 17 in the bag. I paid about $3 each for them. He didn't know what they were for. Did the same thing with a bunch of suomi stick mags (wish they were drums) I have no use for the next day.

I have 8 NOS ones in my mag pouch...every one ran 100% in my gun....i think maybe some guns are more fussy or the mags are just worn out..maybe they are cheaply made and wear out fast, but they seem to be pretty decent quality..its not flimsy metal

I think it's usually the feed lips need tweaking. I have mags that look brand new that won't feed and ones that look like they've been buried in the yard for a few years that feed flawlessly. Thankfully I have so many that I haven't felt the need to tweak the ones that don't work 100%. The "bad" ones still seem to work in my semi auto guns that take sten mags.
