22lr kit not working well

I'm having some issues with my 22lr kit on my FA Vector. It seems to fire F/A with the top cover off but not with the cover on. Is it time to change the extractor out? I've been trying it with federal match ammo.

My 22lr kit runs great with CCI Mini Mags and also Armscor High Velocity. I have had issues with Federal Match in my target pistols so never tried it in the Uzi. I would suggest trying other ammo to rule that out before making mods to the gun. 22s tend to be finicky in F/A.

Hi Kruuth,the 22lr FA kits can take a lot of trial and error.My FA UZI runs almost 100% with Blackdog mags and bulk pac fed ammo.cci blazer is ok.Rem golden bullets blow the rims out and destroy the magazine.I also run the 180 drums with the bazooka bros adapter.

You are going to have to use a few different brands and it has to be round nose and use the tuning guide it is well written
