So I picked up a Group Industries UZI .22lr conversion kit with 3 mags last year for a good price thanks to a heads up from someone here. Haven't gotten around to trying it until today. Recently I saw a group of 7 magazines on GB described as "unknown 15 round .22lr UZI magazines." Based on the pictures in the guide here, they looked like early Vector magazines so I threw in a minimum bid and won them. They came in today and I think I scored. I tested one and it held 24 rounds, couldn't get any more in and functioned flawlessly. They have identical feed lips to my GI magazines and have polymer inserts and followers compared to the aluminum ones in my GI magazines. The one I tested actually worked better than my GI Magazine. Both worked with 20 Rounds but the new ones worked flawlessly with 24 rounds while my GI mags choked when loaded to 23 (max I could get in). The new mags are about 1/8" longer than the GI mags and have no round markings. Early vector?
