Interesting, My thought was that the recoil spring was returning the lighter bolt rather than the hard impact of the normal bolt against the extra thick buffer that is being used to shorten the length of travel, taking away the ability of the spring to absorb the impact of the bolt.

With the lighter faster bolt, I would guess that you would also be putting less stress on the welds on the receiver. It was my understanding that the use of a buffer with the stock bolt causes more stress on the rear welds. More of a question than a statement.

The seller just sent me a response. He states it is a dummy barrel, and that it came from IMI/ Action Arms with it. Maybee I should jump on it, a rare one of a kind item. ( ha ha ha )

That was my concern RoverDave, That barrel with the Mac looking threads, The seller does not mention SBR in the ad, and I cant understand why someone would make a dummy barrel with threads on it.

This photo is listed as NIB Uzi model A, I see the 16' barrel is still wrapped in paper, and I see the Dummy barrel, but have never seen one like the one that is on the gun.. Anyone have any Ideas?

I had a similar problem with a new barrel I had purchased from Vector, I compared it to the factory barrel and noticed a sharper edge on the lip of the chamber, I took some valve grinding paste and a rag, and spend a few minutes spinning the Barrel on the tip of my finger, just enough to smooth...

I just saw a B in 9mm NIB sell for $1600. You should be able to get close to that at least.

I have also had good luck, solving FTF troubles on some of my extra Vector Barrells by polishing the lip inside the barrel, there seemed to be a much sharper edge on it than on my IMI barrels, and once I hit them with a bit of Valve Grinding paste the FTF problem was solved.
