Absolutely, if there's something I can help with then I'm happy to!

    Registered bolt having issues

It might be, actually! The ejector should be 100% riveted tight, no movement. Here, scroll down to "Failure to Eject". http://www.smallarmsreview.com/display.article.cfm?idarticles=1422 And, of course, don't forget to examine the extractor. They do get worn out/chipped and stop working...

Build & Register a Street Sweeper

I'm not sure I have any left, but it's nothing special. Just has a square cross section on the top of the "U".

Build & Register a Street Sweeper

I may have been the one who bought the $700 kit... extra parts, overlapped receiver pieces, etc. I'm thinking of getting another couple of parts kits now that I have a functional (if not 12ga or shotgun at all) example to work from. I really ought to take that thing out and snap some pictures...

Crazy micro parts kit from numrich

Can't be... I swapped that lower with a friend who has an 07/02, he gave me the semi-auto only lower from his kit. I guess I just got lucky! There was some fellow on another forum making and selling, among other receiver blanks, a number of micro repair sections. Global Machine & Tool, maybe...

Crazy micro parts kit from numrich

Oh, duh! Being that it was also the only Micro kit I've received that had a safe/semi/auto gripstick, that makes tons of sense... former movie prop, or similar, I bet. Thank you for pointing out the obvious answer I'd overlooked.

    UZI Receiver wear

...a handful of fine sand speeds the process along.

Build & Register a Street Sweeper

Like today, for example. While expensive, those look like somewhat easy builds. I grabbed some other parts from them previously, and they're always 100% as shown, packed really well, and shipped promptly.

Crazy micro parts kit from numrich

It is, indeed... out of curiosity, what blank/center receiver are you planning on? I've had good luck with US Shroud's.

Crazy micro parts kit from numrich

One of the Micro kits I got was also in very poor condition (even the boltface was pitted... how does that even happen?) and had completely dead tritium sights like that, along with the oddly straight stock and curved buttplate. I didn't want to keep it, but apparently they're much scarcer than...

    Registered bolt having issues

That kind of sounds like it was meant to stay "married" to the gun. Fingers crossed that you can get it running with your IMI. That aside, I second checking the ejector. Is the extractor in good shape? Also, have you checked for any possible chamber roughness? It could easily be a combination...

I'm still waiting on my paper F1 to come back... wish I'd waited, but who knew eForms were coming back?

    Considering Stemple 76/45. any input?

Honestly, the bolts should have been made from nearly anything else... but as a machinist, I can entirely understand why he went with 1144! That stuff cuts like a dream. I keep toying with the idea of a 17-4 H900 bolt (HRC in the 40s instead of 1144's 17), but I haven't gotten around to it...

The new Smith & Wesson 76 / Swedish K book is available now....see link

Just finally remembered to purchase a copy. I'm greatly looking forward to it!

    Considering Stemple 76/45. any input?

Parts, OEM parts, are still available. That may factor into your decision too... Supposedly, a M/31 "Suomi" FCG is adaptable to increase reliability and allow for selet fire. gunguy45 - it sounds like your bolt was never hardened. The OEM bolts are 1144 "stressproof", and without hardening of...

    Norinco carbine trigger reset issues

Will do. Waiting on some measurements so I can either add material to this one or mill a new one.

    Norinco carbine trigger reset issues

Okay. I can tell you I didn't know that as I've only ever handled Uzis with purpose built semi parts. Other than the clearance grind on the back and the smaller sear pads, is there enough of a difference between the modified full sear and the semi sear to be causing the trouble I'm having? Or...

    Norinco carbine trigger reset issues

Thanks a million. This whole thing is quite a head scratcher. I haven't been beat by a gun problem in years.

    Norinco carbine trigger reset issues

The only Chinese parts remaining are the receiver, the bolt, the striker, and the disconnector stop. Everything else is either IMI or US. Norinco Uzis are normally quite good which is why I figured this would be an easy fix. I'll have to wait a while until I can borrow a camcorder to take a...

    Norinco carbine trigger reset issues

I may end up having to take a video of the weird behavior of this thing. I've never even heard of issues like this when all the parts have been checked and rechecked. I'm getting ready to tear my hair out over this. My last thought is the disconnector stop that goes on the same pin as the...
