    New here, quick request!

I don't know if these will work for you as the front sight is covered by the handguard but here goes:

Close up pics of Micro Stock mounting hardware

If anyone needs their receiver modified to fit the MAR stock, Don Quinnel is the man to talk to. He did an excellent job on my IMI receiver.

What's a good sling for a Micro and how do you attach it?

Boscoman, that's my rifle. He did something so the pics would work. Thanks for the advice.

What's a good sling for a Micro and how do you attach it?

I'm just looking for advice on a sling to use on my Micro and where I could attach it as it doesn't seem to have any places to put one on. I know there are some LEO's here that are issued a MAR by their PD so what are you using? Thanks.

Micro Galil thread. Pics of my updated MAR inside.

Ok folks, my MAR just got back from Don's Gunshop in Florida with the rear of the receiver milled to utilize the MAR folding stock (before, I was using just a standard Galil folder). I just want to give props to Don Quinnel for an outstanding job and I highly recommend him for any AK type work...

    Galil MAR Stock & Hardware

That's fine, but he should get on here and verify if he still has whole stock assemblies for sale and how to go about ordering one.

    Galil MAR Stock & Hardware

What about part# 43? Also, can you get a hold of Todd and see if he has the stock parts for sale?

Anyone know where I can find mar folding stock parts?

Thanks Suka. As far as converting it, Don Quinnell did a registered full auto IMI receiver into a MAR a while back and the rifle looked outstanding. And Todd, nothing against your receiver but why bother with it when I have a real IMI one to work with? It makes the rifle considerably more...

Anyone know where I can find mar folding stock parts?

Todd, do you still have the stock assembly parts for sale? And no, I'm not selling it.

Anyone know where I can find mar folding stock parts?

Todd, if you could build this receiver into a SAR and re-use these parts on a dedicated MAR receiver, I'd do it. The receiver is already registered as an SBR so I doubt the BATFE would look down upon that. That's another option as well.

Anyone know where I can find mar folding stock parts?

The whole assembly. I want to convert this over to the MAR stock to make it a little bit more authentic.

Anyone know where I can find mar folding stock parts?

I'm looking for mar folding stock parts. I'd like to put them on my Micro to make it a bit more authentic so does anybody know where I might find the parts at? Thanks.

Micro kit for sale on GunBroker.com

Relax man. Even if it's not 100% who cares. As long as YOU enjoy it then that's all that matters. Is mine a true Micro, no because I have to use a regular folder. If one day I happen to come across the Micro folder parts, then sure I'll buy them and make mine into a true Micro and if not so...

    My Micro Galil

Nope, it's the standard charging handle on the newer versions of the Micro. It was developed because using optics would get in the way of the user and so the Navy version was created to overcome this. It is a definite improvement over the right side handle and it makes charging the rifle so much...

    My Micro Galil

Thanks for the comments people. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet and I really can't compare it to a SAR or ARM because this is my first Galil. I'll definitely let you know how it shoots. BTW Elliot308, you bring up a good point with the term "sporter". The look on Fineswines face would be...

    My Micro Galil

Here are some pics of my Micro Galil built on an IMI receiver by ORF. I started this project about 3 years ago with wtb ads placed on various gunboards and these are the results. My only regret is not knowing ORF was going to produce Micro receivers and so for now I'm stuck with a regular Galil...

    Micro Galil Review

If your department is going to use the Micro and the safety lever flaw is something that bothers you or you think needs to be addressed, then by all means I would mention it to your superior and suggest the left side charging handle and top cover. I don't think those parts would cost a fortune...

    Micro Galil Review

The only advantage that I see is that the Micro stock uses a push button on it while the folder that I have has to be manually seperated before folding. If you're carrying a standard size Galil rifle then sure, it might seem easier to operate but on the Micro rifle, it might be a little more...
