    Norinco 320 mag?

I bought one NIB in the early 90's. The magazine was only blocked with a strip of sheet metal. It was easily removed with tin snips. It was as reliable as an IMI mag, but not as pretty. MarkV is right about the rifle. Some work great out of the box, some don't. Mine didn't. If you still...

    Norinco 320 Questions

Sure, but I didn't want to bog down on the legal side. I think it takes a 19" barrel and a 16" barrel is already 6" too long. Plus it adds expense (for the barrel) and is not even that handy to use.

    UZI 41E QUESTION

As an added bonus you can probably sell the .41 mags and barrel for a lot more than the 9mm parts will cost you.

    Norinco 320 Questions

I did all that too back in the late '90's or early '00's. I made my own stock and used the the Chinese hardware to atach it. It didn't look that bad, but it was not anything like a real Uzi stock. If you can get an Uzi wood stock you could use it for a pattern. There are not a lot of fancy...

wtk: converting f/a uzi lower to semi- auto

I knew the syntax police would catch up with me eventually. You are correct. I meant stop plate, not blocking bar. I just couldn't think of the term at the time.

wtk: converting f/a uzi lower to semi- auto

There are two problems that you have to deal with. One is the blocking bar. I haven't seen a semi-auto in while, but I remember it being like 1/8" or 3/16" key stock or something. The other problem is the take down pin hole. SMG's use 8mm pins and semi-auto's use 9mm pins. You have to...

    Looking to get an MP5/HK94

I probably sound like that at 2:00 AM as well. What he said is that yes, HK management and some HK owners are snobs, but don't let that detract from the fact that most of the guns they make are very good. Oh, and don't use you G3 inside without hearing protection or you will go deaf.

    922 compliance parts

You might be able to make a disconnector with some hand tools and a lot of patience. Back when I did mine I had some USA brand mags that sucked bad, but I was able to use the followers and floor plates in IMI mags to help me get up to the parts count. The USA mags are all but gone now with...

    922 compliance parts

Just parsing words here, but you might want to call them compliance part, not conversion parts. Typically conversion parts refer to those used to convert a gun to shoot full auto, and it is clear that you simply want to change the furniture legally.

Uzi snail drum on Sturm again.

Yea! What did I win? All those hours looking at Shotgun News finally paid off. I am going to go out on limb on the right hand drum and say it goes to a Hi Power.

wtk:how much is enough for a Smg

For killing Zombies I like the .45 Super or a 10mm. Because of the tactical situation I would go for plain Jane .45 ACP. The reason being is that it never fails that you are always on the run avoiding large crowds of Zombies. You have to get your extra ammo wherever you can. 9mm would be...

    Tell me about the ac556

Rob, I'm with you on all you say. After watching the A-Team as a kid I just had to have an AC-556 once I learned about NFA. I had some aftermarket mags and some factory mags with my first one. With the second one they were all factor mags. My problems were with extraction, not feeding...

    Brand new Uzi jams.

My Vector did this. I sent it back for repair and they said it was a bad trunnion weld. Be very careful with this type of jam. Mine started to feed a round and then stopped. When I turned it to clear the jam the bolt moved again and detonated the cartridge blowing brass shrapnel into my arm...

    Tell me about the ac556

By the way, I chose my handle Paul556 because of my first AC-556. The .22 kit was a hoot, but may have caused some of my problems. If you use a .22 kit get a 5.56 reamer to really clean out your chamber if it starts to jam bad. Mine would stick cases after about 3 or 4 mags. Unsticking them...

    Tell me about the ac556

I guess I will be the dissenting voice and say that I believe AC's are a weak platform. I have owned two and both disappointed me. My first one was a jam-o-matic and my second broke the extractor after just one or two k's of ammo. Even if you discount my bad luck consider the magazine...

    Looking to get an MP5/HK94

From what I have heard there were leftover recievers that were marked for Vector when they stopped making them. If it has a Vector box I would be inclined to think that Vector completed the gun. I would also assume that Vector made many more guns than the few that got put together in the end...
