I just use 22 “quiet” ammo for teaching kids. I think it’s made by cci or auguila… I can’t recall right now. No ear pro needed. It feeds well in bolt action as it’s a full length 22LR and no suppressor is needed. I honestly don’t even think the suppressor can even make the ammo any quieter it’s...
Did you check concentricity with an alignment rod? I have a 22 that acts just like your describing above with suppressor on and off… And no signs of strikes at first glance. But you put the alignment rod in, and look real real close where it just barely touches one side, and sure enough there...
That’s awesome I always wanted one for my m11/9. I would also likely have interest
Do you think there is a way to craft it so you don’t need to install the snap halves on your receiver to use the holster?
Trade the unopened box of 5 to someone for 10 not in a box. If no one takes that deal, then use em like they were meant to be. I too am a shooter… nib to me just means untested and may or may not even work…
I don’t think the original designers/owners/investors wanted to go slow. High rpm was the selling feature back then, not the downside it is now. Back then you could just buy another gun, now you can’t…. Different reasons and perspectives for different times
How fast can you get these short ones to run in an m11/9? I have the full length original one and it’s almost too slow sometimes. Can you get it to run 900rpm or so? Put a buffer stack behind it? Stiffer spring?
