New Optic on the market. Good match for Max-11. (Pics - 56k death)

The only TRUE safety on a firearm is between ones ears. Alas some firearms will never have a safety.

Need Help on MAC-10 9mm Slow fire Conversion

TASK I have actualy done a 45 and 9mm slow fire conversion for my MAC 10. I also have made buffers and different weights for both the CAR and standard stock. My gun is also set up to use either single feed or double feed 9mm mags with the same bolt. All told there is probably over a dozen...

    What Case Tumbler

I use a 1.6 cubic foot morter mixer. It will hold about 3k of 9mm. Cleans up even the dirtest brass in about an hour. It is loud and dusty though, so I use it outside or in the garage. You can get a cheap one for a little over a C-note at Harbor Freifgt.

    Extended GG mags

For the springs I silver soldered them. I added 9 inches( one half of a spring ) to each spring. My overlap was only 1/2 of a coil. This was so I could clamp them to do the soldering. Afterwards I trimmed off the excess. This left about 1/2" of spring that had solder on it. For the triple mag...

    Extended GG mags

Range report I took the extended mags to the ISSMC shoot Saturday. I loaded all 7 in the pouring rain. It looked like it was going to be a long day with all the delays for lightning and such. Call it confidence or stupidity I don't know but, I was a little leary about using these mags as they...

    Extended GG mags

I thought about that. There is a spot weld at the bottom corner though. I could only get another 3/8" of tube before it starts to taper. I figured it wasn't wourth the trouble. Yes I'll be at the shoot. Hope you guys will take it easy on the newbee.

    Extended GG mags

I had a little time at work today so I decided to mod a couple of GG mags for the MAC. I took two mags and cut them off even with the reinforcement that acts as the mag catch. The other two I trimmed back just enough to remove the contour that holds the floor plate. All four pieces were then...

MAC 45 "9mm conversion kit?" anyone?

Mine runs on both A little while ago I got a M10 9mm side cocking upper from MPA. I ordered it with a double feed bolt. I also ordered a single feed bolt (new style) from RPB along with a coulple of 9mm mag well adapters. Both venders shipped out my goodies ASAP. After reading about Richards...

I finally got my Mac 10 in 9mm

Sad but true your dealer is right about the $200 gun part. The problem with your mags sounds as though the catch makes them sit too high. They should insert and click into place easily. All of my National mags need a little material taken off of the mag catch. Also if your mags sit too high...

    mac 10 9mm question's need help

I just got a new M10 SC upper from MPA, an adapter from RPB, and some National mags from Wholesale Hunter. All three vendors shipped my stuff ASAP. The adapter from RBP was only $15.00. After fitting the mags the gun is running 100%. I will be getting some MAGPULLs for the mags though as I...

    Magazine adjustments?

Another thing to look at is the feed lips at the back of the mag. These are very easly bent downwards. That little slot they have there makes them weak. Once I'm satisfied with these mags I plan to TIG weld up the little slot. It should make them a lot more dependable.

    Magazine adjustments?

Hey skunk are you using a 9mm adapter in your magwell? How far can you push the mag up after it locks in place? If all your other mags are working ok I wouldn't mess with the mag catch on the gun. You can remove a little material from the catch on the mag though. I had to remove a little...
