    Mac 11/9 Upper Options?

For "high capacity" full auto shooting .45 ACP in a standard magwell M16, I use a 40 round, .45 ACP ProMag 1911 pattern feed tower drum coupled with a Blind Squirrel Enterprises (BSE) 1911 mag magwell adapter. Not cheap, no LRBHO, and as is the case with MEAN Arms EndoMags, the ejector is...

Black Dog Uzi 32rd .22lr mags

I'm of the quite possibly mistaken belief or am misremembering that after the Uzi .22 mag design was finalized about 10-12 years ago, Black Dog Machine (BDM) did a run of 5,000 mags; and about two years ago, the last of those were sold off. Prices varied somewhat over the years, but was...

Anybody owned FA American 180 or 10/22?

For AM180 drum use for "bulk" .22LR shooting there is (or was) the A&D Adapter (that was sold by Bazooka Brothers and is sometimes called a "Bazooka Brothers Adapter"). There were versions of the adapter for Uzi, H&K, MAC 11/9, and AR-15/M16. The adapters come up for sale every now and then...

Truth about the original two stage Werbell can

The MAC Man book by Frank Iannamico has several pages of discussion and illustrations of WerBell silencers. No noise reduction numbers though. Probably because noise reduction is somewhat ammo dependent. MHO, YMMV, etc.

    CF-W .45ACP Bolt

At one time, VegasSMG Tom had a video of himself shooting the .45 ACP tungsten bolt on his Facebook page. Perhaps the video could be tracked down.

The ONE TIME some reloaded ammo went through my Uzi - Case rupture & receiver bulge

10-12 years ago there was an indoor range that let me shoot my Uzi full auto there, and to be "a good customer" I'd buy a 50 round bag of his commercial reload 9mm ammo. It was so lame, it wouldn't even cycle the Uzi, so I would shoot the reloads in the Sig Sauer P226 that I'd bring along. For...

    Are these MAC 10 magazines?

The Assault Weapon and High Capacity Magazine Ban of 1994-2004 aspect of this discussion reminds me of a paraphrase of the quote that is attributed to the late President Abraham Lincoln, "Any magazine is a MAC 10 magazine, if you're brave enough".

    UZI Trigger Upgrades

I've no personal experience, but Bill Springfield (triggerwork.net) does trigger work on semi and full auto Uzis [as well as numerous other firearms]. Best of luck, whatever you decide to pursue. MHO, YMMV, etc.

    Optics on Full Auto?

I came here to post that, and I'll add "or in an elevator, or when doin' a slow drive-by takin' out competitors tryin' to creep into your territory".

Is New Technology Like Forced Reset Triggers Or Super Safety Going To Reduce The Viability Of Multiple Thousand Dollar Accessories

The concept of a spring loaded ball for firearm bolt/buffer movement control goes back over 100 years. See, for example, U.S. patent no. 1,356,191. Spikes Tactical had their .22 conversion bolt drilled and frame notched for the ball/detent but discontinued offering the ball and spring before...

Is New Technology Like Forced Reset Triggers Or Super Safety Going To Reduce The Viability Of Multiple Thousand Dollar Accessories

Note also, with a RR or RDIAS, for bolt bounce cancellation, an alternative or addition to an anti-bounce weight is the so-called "ball - detent modification". Probably also the case with the various trigger assemblies discussed. As far as the title question goes, call girls and inflatable...

    Grip/Site

That grip is rather rare, and at least one reason is that the price when new in the '80's was $35 - that's over $100 today. MHO, YMMV, etc. ETA: The information as to the manufacturer of the pictured grip and its 1980's price was found in "The Terrifying Three" by Duncan Long.

    Grip/Site

I'm not TSPC, but I'll note that the pictured grip is a Rhino Replacement Parts Assault Grip which dates from the 1980's. It was also sometimes referred to as "the motorcycle (folding) foot peg grip".

Welcome to UziTalk. I believe that you'll be able to find a lot of information regarding the accessories noted [and lots of other information] within "The Uzi Submachinegun Examined" by [UziTalk founder] David Gaboury aka "The Uzi Book". In particular, Chapter 30. MHO, YMMV, etc.

Long shot I know but is anyone making Uzi Grease gun lowers anymore?

Thanks for the updates. I suspect that the .45 ACP drum market is now dominated by ProMag. Yeah, now that I think about it, the drum that I'm misremembering was probably a Thompson 50 round drum with a Grease Gun stick mag stub with relocated mag catch slot feed tower. Thanks for the updates.

Long shot I know but is anyone making Uzi Grease gun lowers anymore?

FWIW, I believe that BRP may still make M3 submachine gun (aka "Grease Gun") feed tower 50 round, .45 ACP drums (reworked Suomi 9mm, 72 round drums) as a custom order. The last cost that I recall seeing was $500 each. For greater than 22 round .45 ACP Uzi use, I'm still thinking that a ProMag...

Mean Arms 9mm Uppers- Has Anyone had Experience With These ?

While I do have an A5 length buffer tube on a dedicated AR9, 9mm rifle build, I don't care to install an A5 length buffer tube on my M16 as I shoot a number of calibers with said lower. Use of an A5 length buffer tube would add complications such as use of spacers with some calibers/uppers and...

    .22 mags

The book, "The Uzi Submachinegun Examined" has a pretty big section on the various .22 conversions - both semi and full auto. A number of magazines are shown. MHO, YMMV, etc.

    Uzi work/gunsmithing/ services

As far as "tuning" (full size, full auto) Uzi .22 conversions go, the only thing that I found would have been handy to have and is not already offered was a set of precut and hole punched shims of a few thicknesses. The actual process is pretty straight forward. And, while I'm not interested...
